Better than 2 star. Good value for money, very clean rooms with regular maid service and well kept and attractive/tidy pool area and gardens. Plenty of sun loungers.
Reception staff all nice and on arrival they gave us an alternative room to the one we had been allocated as it was too near the bar and on the ground floor so no private balcony which we really wanted - they were happy to oblige and as the apartments were not fully occupied this was easy - might not be in high season. Beds ok if a little firm. No air con which was ok in May but the heat might be a bit too much in July/August. You will need some Mosquito spray etc (plug in one worked very well).
Some apartments were (in our opinion) too close to the bar and restaurant - which played all the football matches on the big screen far too loudly so if you don't like football I would consider another place. Sometimes they had music on and that was very nice, not too loud and a good mix. Could have been that there was a football tournament at the time we were there.... not sure.
Located on edge of town so quiet location with about 15 minutes walk into the centre. Town centre pretty much like any Spanish resort but not as crazy (but it was early May and not summer so likely to be busier later on).
Local supermarkets were reasonably priced and well stocked if you are self catering. The island is lovely and we hired a car for the 2 weeks and visited lots of beaches/quaint villages and the mountains which were spectacular and definitely worth driving up. (We used 'holiday Autos' (via Groupon web site) and paid £165 for 2 weeks for a 1,6 VW polo with AC which was great value!) .
For the apartments the price was very competitive indeed compared to many others we had looked at. On the whole it was a great holiday and I would certainly recommend it!

Room Tip: rooms near bar area on GF were less private

Im not long back from playa park, what can i say. Well the hotel itself was lovley and clean, the poll area was sub tropical to look at at with all the trees and and palms. the food at the pool bar was off a very good standard and reasonably priced. I felt that they could have had a happy hour to attract more people as the beer was 3e a pint. The accomodation was a studio with balcony overlooking the pool area. My only gripe was the the kitchen was set into a cupboard which was really small. The location was a 15 min stroll to the main centre, But there was a lovely centre across the road from us which had recently been built in a typical spanish village way. We ate and drank there a few times as they put on entertainment on a small stage including flamenco. the tapas was great there. I would recommend the playa park for it relaxation and cleanliness, but i would not recommend it to the young crowds who want to party day and night. The only other gripe I would have that the accomodation does not have air con, and through the nigh it was very stuffy and hot.

After reading all the reviews of the cheaper accomodation in Fuerteventura, we decided on the Play Park Club as it seemed to have the least negative reviews, and I can honestly say it exceeded our expectations. On arrival we were upgraded from a studio apartment to a one bedroomed apartment, facing onto the pool. The apartments were cleaned every day (apart from Sundays), the pool areas were also cleaned every day, in fact the place was absolutely spotless. They also had either been recently redocorated or the place is pretty new, as no tattyness anywhere. Lovely bathroom, kitchen living area. Rooms have hairdrier, iron and ironing board. The restaraunt / bar also was good. A good choice of food really, and not bad. The pool area is really lovely and quite sheltered, as we found Fuerteventura to be very windy (which I had heard) but i think it was the time of year. Correlejo itself was not really to my taste. It feels fairly manmade and very catered to tourists, with british pubs etc everywhere, but again, it is very new and clean and there is an old harbour which is very nice. The town beach is a small horshoe shape and very small, but the dunes are 5 mins by car from the Playa park club, and are amazing (but windy). We also went to El cotillo which is gorgeous, but it was not a great day so we didnt get the pleasure of it on a lovely sunny day. Fuerteventura itself is very barren. the countryside isnt particularly pretty, as nothing much grows due to the heat but the beaches are amazing, great for watersports and everyone is very friendly. I would definately go back to the Playa Park Club. it really was excellent.

just got back today and all i can say everything was brilliant, rooms maybe a little dated but they were spotless clean, kitchen enough for a snack or light meal, bathrooms were great with hairdryer so don't take yours.
the complex is about 15 to20 mins walk to main town, waterpark and market, check out town prices before going to the market asthe lookey lookey men are just there to rip you off and some prices were cheaper in the shops.
going back to hotel plenty of sunbeds and 2 lovely pools although noone seemed to use them.a little park for the kiddies in the pool area all of these were well maintained.
pool bar 3 euros a pint ate there and meals good for the price, some people have slagged off this accomadation what planet do they live on we booked this holiday a week before we went for £366 for 2 of us we would not have got a weeks holiday in the uk for that,we have travelled to all the usual spots and this was the best value we have ever had if you want 5star pay for it just don't whinge for the price you pay here, you're laughing your way to the bank all in all excellant complex, brill staff, thomas cook you rock but most of all corralejo was the bees knees a little gem that we have missed on our travels but we will be back next year for sure.

Room Tip: the rooms above reception had the best pool views

Booked this last minute after the agent really messed up but was totally blown away by the value for money. Having stayed in over 5 different Canaries locations, this was the best so far. Really clean, bar was not over priced and staff were great. Pool was clean and there were enough sunbeds, with a pool guard around all the time the pool was open. Free wi-fi and a great shower with excellent kitchen facilities. Mosquitos were a bit of a nightmare but the maids came in and cleaned every day (early afternoon!). The location is perfect for the centre if you want to be close enough to walk but far enough to sleep ;-) The beaches are quite close and the harbour about 30 mins walk. Lots of hidden beaches with beautiful sand are local and the bars are fab...returning to Rock Cafe and restaraunts by the harbour for stunning fresh fish.
Fabulous base for pretty much anything!

Room Tip: Check in late as possible, bathe near the kid pool

We arrived at the Playa Park at around 1:30PM, our room wasn't ready but we were happy to take a walk around Corralejo. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment and were overall very happy with it indeed. The apartment itself was well laid out, very clean and quite spacious. The kitchenette has everything you'd need for a short stay, kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery, microwave, fridge and 4 ring hob. The cleaners came 5/7 days, although sometimes very early at 9 a.m. but we weren't bothered by this at all. We had a lovely terrace with table and chairs, it was right beside the pool and got the evening sun. There was no air con in these apartments and this was not a problem for us in April as the evenings were cool and there was always a breeze, however, in summer, this could be an issue for some people. The apartment was lovely especially for a 2 star, I have definately stayed in lesser apartments that are rated 3 star. So for a 2 star I thought this complex and the apartments were exceptional

The pool area was very nice, there are plenty of sun loungers. There are two pools, one big and one small for little kids. We stayed by the pool a good few days as we really enjoyed the peace and relaxation of it. There was always a lifeguard on duty aswell.

I thought the location of these apartments was good enough. Its a 10 minute stroll to the beginning of Main Street. We went to the old town a few nights and got a taxi there and back, this wasn't a problem as the taxi only cost €2-3 each way. I think it would be too long a walk from the apartments to old town. The Campanario is across the road from the apartments, theres a supermarket here and few shops and one or two restaurants (although I wouldn't recommend them for your evening meal). To the Sand Dune beach its at least a 30 min walk, we rented bikes out one of the days from the hotel for €8 each (which was a bit steep given the quality of the bikes) to get there. I think there's a bus although I never saw it nor did it pass me on the road when I was walking or cycling. The town beach is about a 10-15 min walk and is OK.

All in all we had a fab time in Playa Park, it was great value for money in a reasonable location, and I would recommend it and go back again.
