This was our first all inclusive holiday and we were not disappointed. The place was lovely, clean, with all the staff being very friendly. The restaurant manager was so obliging and couldn't do enough for you. The food was very nice with good choices and pleasantly displayed. The entertainment team were great fun and got us joining in with darts, pool and more games.

Stayed at this hotel first week in March 14. First impression was good - check in very swift and welcoming. Reception area quite small but clean and bright. Opened door to room - studio apartment, very spacious and clean with plenty of storage space. Plus small kitchen area with two rings, fridge, microwave. Separate bathroom with shower, but no balcony just view onto main road so clothes airer had to be used in the room??? Basic but clean. Quality of food was average for a hotel of this status, but something for everyone. Service in restaurant is very good. A 10 minute walk takes you to the local 'strip' which is a good walk out, full of shops and bars and restaurants. Similarly to the beach. Entertainment is usual - one night parrot show, singer with keyboard etc. Entertainment staff of 4 provide the rest - lots of audience participation!!!! Real downfall is that there is no quiet area to sit and have a drink and a conversation away from the noise of the entertainment and children's' snooker table, games machines etc - everything in one small room. Poolside is good, plenty of sunbeds, two pools one with slide, plus paddling pool area, usual daily entertainment of sports etc. with evening award ceremony. Guests are multi national - predominately French, Spanish, German, Dutch, British. Like all holidays it's what you make it and you get what you pay for at this hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a pool view - some rooms in main building on 2nd floor do not have a balcony. Buy your drinks[spirits] duty free and mixers in local supermarket as quality on site is the worst I've experienced!

I have just returned from 7 days holiday at the Playa Park. The rooms were cleaned for 5 days and the pool area is very clean with plenty of sunbeds. The animation team were limited although with some activities on offer all day. Jay from Dominica is an absolute gem and a credit to the hotel. There is a great guy behind the bar called Samba who ensures that you always topped up with the free AI alcohol. The evening entertainment was distinctly average. The food was very good but I felt that there could have been more options at both lunch and dinner. All of the staff are very friendly making your stay more enjoyable. I certainly hope to return in the future. Thank you Playa Park for a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday. the sound proofing leaves a lot to be desired we had to listen to the couple next door "making up" throughout the week!

We were due to stay here but on arrival they tell us that there has been a mistake and we have to move hotels. After an early start and it being my birthday I was not happy! How a hotel can do this to people is beyond me. We since found out they do it all the time!! Why!! People spend a lot of time choosing their hotels and I have reviewed it and this was where I wanted to spend my birthday. To top it all the rude reception staff tried to make out we were at fault!

Watch out for the rude blonde bloke behind the reception.

They did show us one room but I wouldn't even have let my dogs stay in that room!!

To. E careful if you boom this hotel cos you might not be staying there!!!

Arrived at hotel and was given a room with no balcony or terrace , just a window to looking onto the main road ... The hotel did move us two days later to a self catering apartment which we accepted , sis put a damper on the holiday

Room Tip: Make sure you get a room with a balcony overlooking pool
