Stayed 7-14 July 2012. Originally booked studio, decided to upgrade to 1 bed apt after 1st night (no fault of hotel), no problems, Tamara (receptionist) was very helpful and all receptionists greeted us with a smile at every visit (24 hr). Rooms very clean throughout and serviced daily, first room (212) was external facing with sea view and lovely cooling breeze, second room (219) internal (pool) facing, less of a breeze (no air-con, so fan is a must). Kitchens were very well equipped if you are planning a true self catering stay, the only pay-for-extras were an iron or coffee maker (which we did without) and the safe (Cheap peace of mind). Pool: Plenty of sunbeds, some towel reserving, the complex has a 'no reserving' policy, but does not seem to enforce it. A life-guard was in attendance, for the most part. Don't let your children into the pool after 7pm (pool officially closes at 6pm) as that is when they add cleaning chemicals, i saw some children jump into the pool at about 10pm and dread to think how their eyes and stomach would be after. Two English speaking channels on tv, Sky news and a movie channel. We only ate once in the onsite restaurant 'La Luna', good food, reasonably priced. The entrance to the complex is a little drab, don't let it worry you, everything else is fine. Transfers: Dunas club, because of it's location tends to...Stayed 7-14 July 2012. Transfers: Dunas club, because of it's location tends to be last drop-off, first pick-up, giving total transfer time of 2 hours each way. Located adjacent to the marina, the complex is ideally situated for day trips on the water and seeking out the best restaurants in the old part of town. I have no hesitation in recommending the Dunas Club apartments for a budget stay in Corralejo. This was our 3rd visit to the island and overall, the best accommodation we have had.More
