First impressions are always important, and on arrival, after a very early flight, ours weren’t too good. Although there was a small queue, reception staff didn’t seem to want to deal with it, leaving just one on the desk, with the others disappearing into the back office. Small improvements here could benefit customer service so easily. Rooms weren’t ready, but at least we were in time for lunch which was most welcome. We chose the premium option, and had an excellent suite overlooking the pool. Wifi worked sporadically in the room, and seemed inadequate to cope with high demand. Excellent flat screen TV, watched BBC world news most of the time. Food was always well prepared and tasty with a wide choice. Main dining area could be very busy and noisy at times, but we didn’t have to wait or queue. Good choice of AI drinks and bar staff were all very efficient and pleasant. The entertainment team were very professional and committed, and produced enjoyable shows each night. One of my pet hates is sunbeds being reserved regularly with towels and not being used for long periods. It creates a downmarket, cheap impression of the hotel. I enquired at reception about the hotel policy on this and was told it was not allowed. That may be so, but nothing was ever done to stop it. Hotels never seem to want to tackle this problem, but it would please a lot more people than it would upset if they adopted a hard line for a change.
Overall we had a good holiday at the Atlantis Suite hotel, more positives than negatives, but could do better.

Room Tip: Premium suites are worth the extra

Dear Guest

Thank you for posted your review on Tripadvisor for the use of other potential guests.

We are grateful for your kind appreciation of our “adult only” facilities like the Premium Club with free WiFi access, an adult only pool with own Pool Bar, Premium lounge and other little details in the room.

We are glad that the choice of food across the 3 restaurants satisfied you, and that you found the staff to be cheerful and helpful. We will pass on your kind encouragement to the relevant individuals; it helps to know when your work is appreciated.

We look forward to welcoming you again at a future date.

Best regards

Just returned from 11 nights at this hotel, the kids loved it. The animation team were brilliant whether it was kids club @ 10am, volleyball in the afternoon or the mini disco @ 9:30pm, they were always full of energy & great with the kids. The cleaner was also very pleasant & very good @ her job. Although the room itself could have done with a lick of paint & new clean furniture. The gardens & pool areas were all very clean & extremely well kept.

The reception staff on the other hand were terrible, on more than one occasion we were given conflicting information from different members of staff. There is a quiet pool that has no inflatables, the sign is very clear, but the no children sign is not, and when we asked which pool our children couldn't go in, we were told they can go in all of them. Luckily for the adults relaxing around said pool, I saw the sign.

Only the activity pool is heated, which is no good if you just want a quiet swim or splash around, without playing water polo or hearing music. (All other deep pools, are much to cold to go in!)

The food is good, but seems to get much better on changeover days!!! We were on the grd floor, which was good as we had a buggy, but if the people upstairs, don't remove their shoes, you hear every step and it's very loud!

My wife and I visited for a week at the beginning of February 2014 as part of a Thomas Cook package and were very pleasantly suprised. The Hotel was excellently located, clean, secure and well presented. We upgraded to the Premium suites (adults only) and we're very happy with our choice. Our suite was a very good size and well kitted out. My only negative comment would be that the bed was very firm and we're used to a firm bed! The food was great, with a superb spread of hot and cold. We mainly stuck to the fish and extensive fresh salads. The buffet and main restaurant weren't particularly atmospheric being on a lower ground floor and poorly laid out, but not bad. We didn't spend a great deal of time on the complex during the day, as we had rented a car to explore the local beaches, which were all excellent, but the time we did spend on site was very pleasant.

Stayed for a week from 8th February. the weather was changeable - when the sun was shining it was really lovely but when it got cloudy you really needed your jacket!!

From the kids point of view this is a great hotel - the mini club is excellent (great staff!!) and the kids pools are heated this time of year which is a big plus.

The food is good/average - especially seafood, gaspacho, and fruit are great - and I really loved the Cava which was available every morning for the breakfast :) However we would have hoped to enjoy more fresh salads and less fried food.

The Hotel has a spacious gym, but it was a bit disappointing/not taken care of. Most of the machines are old and some of the dumbbells even broken - one would hope at least the broken dumbbels to be replaced, that wouldn't be a big investment... Also some kettlebells would be nice there..

Just returned from staying at this hotel for one week.

All of the staff are polite, helpful and friendly. The animation team were fabulous and worked very hard to ensure everyone enjoyed their holiday.
The hotel had a high standard of cleanliness. The rooms were cleaned daily, the restaurant and bar staff worked hard to ensure there were no dirty dishes lying around. The gardens and pool area were always clean and tidy.
The location was good - a short walk along the beach to the town which had enough shops, bars and restaurants. The old town was pleasant to visit in the evening where there was entertianment in the old square.
We took 2 excursions - the Jeep Safari which was fantastic and a free tour around the island which was quite good.
The food in the restaurant was varied and catered for all tastes (I'm vegetarian and always found plenty to eat albeit a little repetetive at times.) The local restaurants are inexpensive.
There are plenty of pools to choose from, quiet or with entertainment, kids or adults only and no shortage of sunbeds and umbrellas.
We were all inclusive and found the cocktails delicious and the bar staff very friendly and professional. The coffee too was also very good.
Our Thomas Cook rep, Ian was always around to help out and answer queries. His humour and good nature was much appreciated.
We were disappointed in the beach near the hotel which was good for walking on but not for lounging. The nicer beach with the sand dunes was a bus ride away. Our rooms overlooked a building site and we asked to be moved. We did get nicer rooms overlooking the pool but had to wait 3 days.
The entertainment in the evenings was the usual flamenco shows, animation team shows (which were very good) but the seating area was very cold as it wasnt enclosed.

Hope you find this helpful.

Great looking Place, on the surface very good when you stay in the area for adults only. But, and there are a few buts about this hotel.
We spent three mornings going up to the reception to have new keys to the door lock made. They have a system with electronic locks on the doors and ours broke down three times, before they changed the control box. That is at least one time too many before they fix it properly. On top of that at the second time the lock broke down I asked if it was enough to just make new keys since this had also happened the day before and a serviceman was necessary then to fix the Lock, Vanesa (blond) told me that yes it was, and I said I hope so, because I will be cross if it doesn't work and I have to come up to the reception again. After all it was a couple of hundred metres one way. I was told that she knew her job and I should not worry about it, when I had to return and told her it didn't work in a tone of voice which was not friendly, she called me rude.
This is my experience, but I overheard a conversation between an elderly Lady with a husband in a wheelchair asking for help to carry their luggage up when they were checking out. If this kind of service attitude is representative to this hotel, there must be hundreds of other hotels to choose.
Finally a few words about hygiene in the bathroom and kitchenette area. In the bathroom one of the glasses put there to use when brushing your teeth was not clean, there were residue of toothpaste from a earlier guest at the bottom of the glass. and one of the drinking glasses in the kitchenette had mildew spots on it both on the outside and the inside.
As I started a great hotel on the surface, but far from great when you start to scratch.
The buffet restaurant for breakfast, lunch and buffet dinner, was a very noisy place with quite a few wobbly chairs and not so great food. You can reserve place in to restaurants one Asian and one Spanish, we tried only the Spanish once and as with the buffet restaurant the food wasn't great. although when you stay there all inclusive, we felt it was well worth it to eat at the local restaurants I Corralejo.
