Right....so i read lots of reviews about this place before we went. Dont listen to the negative ones; they are clearly written by very picky, fussy people who obviously couldn't afford to and really needed to spend more money and go somewhere better! This is a lovely friendly resort, didnt feel like a hotel, more like apartments ina little village. The food was fine - its AI and buffet style. If you dont like canteen style dining or mass produced buffet food, dont go AI unless you pay for 5* luxury! It is what it is and there was a huge range of things to choose from. You don't get a relaxing meal with waiter service at this type of AI resort. If eating out is your thing, go self catering. Yes the food was more than ok, nothing amazing but what i expected. We did have dinner out twice but was great not having to do this each night with two young children. The pool bar which doubles up as the asian restursnt was great. Lunch was nice there and look out for the bbq. The asian restaurant was just like a buffet style Chinese that you get back home!
We didnt really get involved with much of the entertianment as had a 2 and 3 year old with us. We did see one show on the first night and a parrott show which we made sure we went to for the toddlers.
The pools were very cold and even the toddler pool was chilly. We went to the beach towards the town and found Waikiki bar on the beach which we loved. Two lunches and two dinners there with a fantastic view. The kids were happier in the sea than the hotel pools.
We did sunbathe by the activity pool a few times while toddlers and Dads had afternoon naps. This was fab as lots going on to watch. Also close to beach bar where you can get yummy cocktails!

All in all this was a lovely break and a great place for our kids. I wouldnt suggest staying here if you dont like young kids as there were lots of young families. The facilities are great and you can find everything you need. Little supermarket right next to hotel open till 10pm - this was our saviour when going back to the room early to put toddlers to bed - lots of snacks to buy!

All the staff we came into contact with were polite and friendly, reception were extremely efficient and organised. Couldn't fault them. Maids did a wonderful job everyday and always said hello when you walked by. Gardens are beautiful and the whole resort is well cared for. And clean.

Lovely stay, thanks Atlantis :-)

I've stayed at this hotel twice now - once in April 2012 with my parents & again, on my own, in March 2013. Both times I had an amazing stay.

All the rooms are separated by sliding doors so the bedroom area is closed off from the living area. This is great if you're sharing a room with your parents! The rooms have decent sized bathrooms with powerful showers over the bath, twin beds & a separate sofa bed & chairs in the living area. There is also a fridge, TV &, in the first room I stayed in, a walk in closet :) The rooms are all in two up, two down buildings so there aren't a lot of stairs but this does mean that the complex is quite large.

The main pool (heated) is the noisiest pool so, if you fancy peace & quiet & don't mind a slightly chillier pool, I recommend heading out past the volleyball area to the pool behind. There are always plenty of available beds & you get the sun all day long. There is a 'quiet' pool to the left of the main dining room (instead of heading down the steps to the courtyard area, turn left & follow the path) which is heated but, as it is close to the children's pool, it can get a bit noisy & is also crowded as it is sign posted as the quiet area.

The food is above average - always plenty to chose from & hot, with healthy & local options. I loved the pancakes with nutella in the mornings & my mum was a fan of the juice bar with the huge choice of freshly made juices. My parents & I did try the a la carte restaurants & really liked the Chinese but were a little disappointed by the Spanish restaurant as they didn't serve anything that we couldn't have got in the buffet restaurant.

There is an adults only section in the restaurant which is welcome as the hotel seemed to be moving more towards families rather than adults (my parents had stayed here previously & said that it was more children oriented).

The alcohol was plentiful, drinkable & a large choice. The local Cava was lovely, the AI cocktails (even though they were from a 'slushy' machine) were very good & strong (the parents could only have one!!), the house brandy was actually quite smooth & I recommend the Baloo & choc milkshake to everyone! The wine on tap in the restaurant was also very nice.

The hotel is a way outside town & took about 20 minutes to wander in either along the beach or through the streets so bring extra money for taxis if you plan on going out. As always, I can't comment on the entertainment as it's not me but didn't see an awful lot going on for adults - just stage shows for the kids & a nightly kids disco.

I would definitely stay here again as it was amazing value for money both when I travelled with the parents & on my own.

Room Tip: Ask for a second floor room as these have large terraces that get the sun all day long.

We have just returned after spending a fortnight at the Atlantis Suite Hotel having upgraded to a Premier suite. The Premier area rooms are for adults only and are apart from the others, entering through a locked gate for which you would now use your room card as the hotel is in the process of replacing all the room locks.
The suite had a kitchen area/sitting room with a large flat screened TV with BBC1, BBC2, BBCWorld, about 5 movie channels and several music ones too. There was a separate bedroom with a large fan above the amazingly comfortable bed and, also, airconditioning - I wanted to take the bed home with me! The bathroom had shower and shampoo wash at the sink basin and at the bath/shower. Other toiletries were supplied at the beginning of the first week but not replaced on the second week. Nor were the mini bar facilities replaced on the second week (cans of beer, coke, Fanta lemon and orange and tonic water). Bathrobes and slippers were supplied along with pool towels. Pay €35 for the safe for two weeks. Free wifi in the Premier area. The Premier pool area is extremely relaxing. The other adults only area was the Rock bar but I can't say that I heard many rock songs! Disappointing atmosphere here although the barmen were very capable and remembered your drinks - it was, however, relaxing enough for a very chilled out evening. There was an adults only disco opening from 11pm to 1am but we found only perhaps 10 people in there on our first visit which was not surprising given the music that was being played. This is definitely a missed opportunity!! On my husband "popping in" to see how it was later in the week, he said that there were more children running around and jumping on seats than there were adults standing (ie, not dancing)!
The main complex outside the restaurant had a lovely seated bar area overhung by a large big-top tent and the show and mini disco theatre-type 'room' was separate. Twice only I saw a stall area selling local souvenirs. The entertainment was not good for adults although the children were having a fabulous time.
The food was very good to excellent with a fantastic range of seafood and meat in stews and cooked on the grill. My favourite meal was breakfast; very varied menu. The hotel catered for every nationality. Lunch could also be taken in the Rambutan restaurant situated in the main pool activity area - and that was extremely good. Two restaurants could have been booked:- the Asian Rambutan and Spanish El Molino - we visited the Rambutan twice. There were about 8 pools, most for kids but one for adults only (apart from the Premier) and another at the Spa area. Tennis, volleyball and other sports could be played in this large complex. Tennis lessons were on hand if you wanted to pay for them.
The main strip was not as busy as it has been in recent years but the night life down at the port was still excellent - it seems like two different places, night and day!
We are going back next year and are booked already but only because we like to leave the hotels we stay at (although all inclusive) and still have a few evenings out.
This hotel is very good and we had a lovely relaxing time

Dear Guest,

Thank you for taking the time to write a review here on tripadvisor regarding your experience at our Suite Hotel Atlantis Fuerteventura Resort.

We are glad you and your husband enjoyed your stay in our adults only “The Premium Club”. This area is equipped with its own pool and pool bar as well as the benefit of access to free wifi during your entire stay.

We are also pleased to read that our restaurants lived up to your expectations. Our main restaurant the “Gaudi” alternates themes every night but also keeps a few dishes consistent to ensure there is something for everyone. Our Spanish a la cart restaurant “El Molino” provides the best quality authentic Spanish food as well as a more personal dining experience. The “Rambutan” is an Asian themed buffet with its own wok and sushi station which has proven to be very popular among many of our guests.

As for our entertainment, we have an excellent animation team, providing activities for all ages. We also offer tennis courts, surf and diving schools and many exciting excursions.

Thank you for choosing to stay with us at and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

Best Wishes,
Guest Service Manager

We have just come back from two weeks, we were family of four (boys 18 and 21) . We had a fantastic time. The facilities are great our boys loved the sports- tennis, gym, volleyball, water polo. The food is really good lots of choice , everything very fresh the two themed restaurants are good we especially loved the Asian restaurant. The staff are fantastic, the animation team work so hard to get everyone involved, our cleaning lady was so lovely and the bar staff are brilliant - a special mention to diago in the adult bar who was fantastic every night! The location is perfect just a 10'minute walk in to town, we would definitely return and recommend it as a great family holiday.

Just returned from a 10 night stay at this resort and we were disappointed. When we booked this hotel we requested a room by the activity pool and we sent the same request by e-mail direct to the hotel 24 hours before arriving. When we checked in we were greeted by a young blonde receptionist who gave us a room furthest a way from all the amenities and just told us it wasn't that far to walk. It is a bit of a trek from one end of the hotel to the other after speaking to a different receptionist we were moved to a room by the activity pool like we had requested. Its hard to say wether requesting a room by e-mail actually makes a difference or if its just luck. I don't know where the porter is we didn't see one the whole time we were there. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool area was lovely however the pools were extremely cold there weren't any lounger problems however people were starting to reserve them the day we left so I imagine it will be a problem in the height of season. This hotel can get very boring for older teenagers as it is mainly aimed at young screaming children with parents who allow them to run riot and become a nuisance to other guests. It is a lovely walk along the beach into Corralejo which is a nice resort however a few people said there isn't much nightlife before 1am. The entertainment team are fantastic particularly Buzza, Emily and Marcin. The evening shows performed by the animation team were brilliant however the outside shows were rather poor. The plaza seemed to lack any kind of atmosphere and many guests including ourselves found it difficult to enjoy a night down there there is just something missing. The choice of drinks available were typical of a Spanish AI but the food was a massive let down. Breakfast was the usual but nothing outstanding, lunch in Gaudi mainly consisted of chips pasta and rice and dinner was very hit and miss some nights the food was really good other nights the only thing edible was a plate of chips. The pool bar serves almost the same thing everyday for lunch sometimes they have a BBQ but after eating the chicken we had dodgy stomachs. The Rambutan was delicious proper Chinese food and it gave us a nice break from the chaos of the the main restaurant. The staff were all very friendly. Our airport transfer was due to pick us up at 17:55 so we asked if we could keep our room later but the hotel was fully booked, they offered us a shower room but the only times available were 1pm and 5:15pm you are only allowed a half an hour slot which isn't enough time for 3 people to get showered this hotel really needs to be prepared to accommodate a large volume of people leaving with late transfers. Quite a few guests said that if you check out before 12 they don't cut your wristbands off and you can still use the facilities for the rest of the day we tried this and it worked and many other guests did the same. Unfortunately we wouldn't recommend this hotel and we wouldn't return either.

P.S don't forget your mosquito repellant you're going to need it.

Dear Guest,

Upon reading your review we are surprised to hear that the experience you describe is regarding our Suite Hotel Atlantis Fuerteventura Resort.

As soon as our guests arrive we always have a porter ready to help as long as you make it clear to the reception staff also mentioning the preferred location of your room.

We are glad that you enjoyed our animation team, they are very passionate and enthusiastic with our guests. Our hotel offers a variety of activities for all ages. We have a gym, spa, tennis courts and a water sports centre to organise more mature activities. Our team at the reception are lucky to help you by booking excursions to very picturesque places that surround the area of Corralejo.

As for our restaurants, we make sure there is always variety as well as quality to ensure that there is something for everyone. Although the “Gaudi” changes themes every night and offers show cooking at every service. There is always roast meat on offer, plain pasta with a choice of sauce, 2 types of soup and 2 types of fresh fish to choose from to be grilled to your taste.

In our five bars we offer a big range of national and international alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks including cocktails in the regime of all inclusive

We hope this has cleared up any issues or doubts you had concerning our hotel.

Best Regards
Guest Service Manager
