just returned from this hotel very disappointed to me it was a 70s type of property food was very basic and cold we went all inclusive but not impressed drinking out of paper cups evening entertainment very poor and cold sitting indoors at this time of year which of course is no fault of the hotel but after saying that the room were the entertainment was on the doors could have been closed on arrival we could not gain access to our room as we had no door knob on our door to open the door in fairness to the hotel this was rectified within 30 mins their was no information to tour the island as this was our first visit we ended up going to the arena resort just round the corner and felt that we were in a 5 star resort no I am not joking and it was the same price but that is what the gamble you take when booking somewhere you have not been we made the best of what we had and a few days in the sun that's got to be better than going to work

We enjoyed our holiday in the Aloe Club Resort. Food and drinks were good and we had same complaint as others had - there was no quiet place to have a drink after dinner. It was too cold to sit outside and we don't generally enjoy entertainment provided. Our room had no English speaking channels on it so that was out of the question too!

Staff were very friendly and helpful and would recommend the hotel to others.

Do not waste your hard earned money on staying here, on arrival sat 25th Jan we were told to wait 2 hours for our room (supposed to have been available from midday). We were placed in the green section at back of hotel below road level, which was the main bus route. Room seemed ok until I entered the bathroom which had a window at ceiling level with no covering and no shower certain, that was when I noticed the buses n passengers looking in. We complained to reception and asked to move and were told they could fix the problem as the cleaners had not been so they would bring shower curtain, or we could wait till Mon 27th in reception for another room!!! the receptionist was very rude (didn't get her name). We took the room as we were tired and just wanted to relax and unpack, a bloke turned up and put sticky opaque plastic over the window (which would not open having been stuck shut) we also got a shower curtain. List of other issues, light socket in bathroom exposed wires so was left on due to risk of shock, window above bed did not lock and could be opened from outside, holes in walls and ceiling (I think from previous occupants due to noise from above) No hot water all week!!, stairs to room steep with hand rail that stopped two steps before the bottom with sharp edges not fixed properly, with a push it would have came off. No outside lights, so using the stairs at night was dangerous as my partner found out nearly breaking his ankle, I can only assume they thought the street lights outside complex was enough. No hot food all week in restaurant when we complained we were told to use the microwaves, by day two we were eating out putting extra cost to the holiday as we were all inc. The heated pool wasn't and all pools were dirty with tiles missing and sharp edges. If you wanted hairdryers, heaters, safe key and kettle you had to pay extra and not all rooms had air con (we didn't).Should have known something was wrong when our transfer bus driver laughed when we told him where we were staying!! This hotel is definitely not a four star as advertised by tripadvisor and many holiday agents, I would strongly suggest not staying at aloe club if you want to enjoy your holiday.

I travelled with a friend and we very much enjoyed our stay here. Two of us were sharing a four-bed apartment so we had loads of space. The apartment was very clean and well maintained. The beds were hard but not uncomfortable and the hot water sometimes ran a bit lukewarm after a long shower but the weather was good so it didn't really matter.

There was a wide selection of food and we both always found something to eat but it wasn't the best food ever. The way to describe it would be 'you get what you pay for'. That being said, we really enjoyed the food they served on Spanish night (as expected, it was some of their best).

The staff were polite and helpful and were more than happy to book taxis for us. We ended up getting quite a few taxis as the hotel was located a little further out of Corralejo than we had anticipated. Taxis to town were cheap though and cost less than 5€.

Overall we were very satisfied with the hotel and Corralejo although if you're looking for some nightlife, don't go in January!

Ok so first impressions were terrible not down to the hotel itself but by front office/reception (Melissa) I have never ever been spoken to the way she spoke to me. I asked her to help us translate to the taxi driver and she basically said it's not her problem and the problem is that I don't speak spanish! As the conversation went on she gradually started to raise her voice and I had to ask her to stop as I was holding my 3 month baby at the time. She then continued to rank on to my boyfriend!

Hotel was ok the room had everything we needed and was handy having a microwave and hob. Asked for a ground floor room when we booked and when we got there we were given a first floor room. I went to reception to ask to swap but was advised there was a ramp that we could use....well there was a ramp behind the kitchens and it closed at night so we had to carry the buggy up and down the stairs every night! No entertainment in the evening so had an early night most nights.

Location was ok if u don't mind a walk, we walked into corralejo everyday (20 mins) which was quite nice and suited us. There is a little square courtyard about 5 mins away they have music on some nights which we enjoyed.

This was our first holiday as a young couple, from the 13th January for a week. Upon arrival we were disappointed to find our room would not be ready for a further two hours, as we had been up for a long time and just wanted to change and unpack, this was a pain.

When we got to our room which was supposedly pool view it was actually underground with a window below pool level, which we found funny. The room was new and was very nice and clean, modern looking, with a few English channels on the TV for when you're getting ready.

The bathroom however flooded through to the living room when we showered which meant we used all of the towels daily. The plug sockets came off the walls when unplugging...plugs, although we used them fine. There aren't any double beds, just singles pushed together, but turned out to be comfortable. Housekeeping staff were very friendly and came quite regularly.
The pools were good but cold in January, this didn't stop most people though.

The entertainment and bar staff were very friendly, particularly Eric the entertainer and Juan the waiter.
We had a fridge in our room even though we were all inclusive, which was great for bottled water. The restaurant was very nice, nicely presented food, There was a different theme night every day of the week but the food didn't stick to it, there was tequila, wraps and nachos on Mexican night but still chips, pasta and the usual shpeel. We are quite fussy and didn't like the look of a lot of it but always enjoyed the pizza and pasta dishes; and the included cocktails.
The pool snacks were reheated things from previous meals which you helped yourself too, not too appetising.

The free bus service to the centre was good at 10am. The receptionists were nice and friendly.
The town is a very nice place and not a long walk away, about 10 minutes from the hotel, there was lots of good shops in the centre and food was reasonably priced for the odd meal out, great atmosphere all round.

If you go on an excursion to the volcanoes, or the atlantic adventure which we did, be warned the boat ride is super rocky and we felt really sick but was a good experience we guess!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

We came away for my 50th birthday, and chose this as a late deal. My sister emailed them and asked them if they could give us a nice room with a view of a pool, and when we got there they had done. Most of the pool balcony's are covered with palm trees, and ours got the sun from morning till night with no restriction of views. The bathroom let the room down slightly with chipped tiles, but otherwise all was fine. It was the first apartment I've been in where I would have used the utensils and pans if I was self catering - everything appeared brand new. We were all inclusive and the food was full of choice and plentiful - Not 5 star quality but very edible and the staff were lovely. There was a food range for all nationalities. We didn't starve! There was a bit of walking to be done if you wanted to go into the centre (15-20 mins) - so if you are slow on the legs then this is the only let down really - you could get a taxi though, but we enjoyed the walk and you kinda get used to the distance in the end. Not too far from the dunes either so you weren't restricted to stay by the pool. I would stay here again it was value for money, clean and the beds were comfy and the apartment large. The only down side was the lack of enthusiasm from the animation team through the day and the repetitive nature of the evening entertainment. The 2 girls appeared as if they were just turning up for the money and showed no enthusiasm to interact with the holiday makers. One evening one girls was offering drinks to match the meal for the evening - I asked what the drink was and she replied I dunno its yellow stuff !! Nuff said - Don't get them back for a second season, get someone else ! - Give it a go Not 5 star but good enough for a relaxing holiday.
