We should have been staying in the Playa Park which I had done loads of research on but they had no rooms which seems to be common practice there.
Aloe was OK but that's all rooms fine food 2/5 cold but there was always something to eat even if it was toast and banana. drinks in plastic cups at night .only 1 bar which was outside not much entertainment Eric was good if loud but tried hard. We will not be returning to this hotel nor to Corralajo. We heard from a lot of people in the hotel that it was not meant to be there hotel Arena being the main one.
One cheeky older waiter in the dining room.

Room Tip: No lifts if your on the 3rd floor

The majority of the hotel is old and it begins to show.

There is a new part being added, its in green color compared to the orange/sand color scheme of the rest. But be ware that new rooms at not fully finished, they lack amenities and are eary empty.

Do not take the all inclusive option. Food is ok. Just ok, with few exceptions.
Hit the city and explore other dining options.

stayed in the aloe club in September 2013. Loved almost every part of it. Melissa checked us in and through the full stay could not have been more helpful. the hotel itself was really lovely. if you look for the bad parts you'll find them - paint peeling here and there, bit of dodgy tiling here and there but overall really nice hotel that was ideal for a relaxing holiday with enough to do for the kids (15 and 17 boys) football pitch, volleyball, water polo, archery.
The food was lovely, after the 4th day it does feel a bit repetitive but if you went to the same restaurant every night in UK it would feel repetitive. my family are really fussy but found something to eat every day.
the hotel was 35minute bus ride from airport, 5 minute walk to beach or 10 minute ride on the coach provided free to the bigger stretch of beach. 20minute walk to town, if you take your time. 10minute walk to waterpark.

overall we had an amazing holiday - weather was brilliant, hotel and area was ideal. would suit a lot of different people, some people can be really fussy on trip advisor and i think I'm one of those fussy people.

I have re-booked to go in a weeks time - cannot wait!!

Room Tip: main pool view rooms are lovely but i can't imagine many rooms being much different

just returned from this hotel very disappointed to me it was a 70s type of property food was very basic and cold we went all inclusive but not impressed drinking out of paper cups evening entertainment very poor and cold sitting indoors at this time of year which of course is no fault of the hotel but after saying that the room were the entertainment was on the doors could have been closed on arrival we could not gain access to our room as we had no door knob on our door to open the door in fairness to the hotel this was rectified within 30 mins their was no information to tour the island as this was our first visit we ended up going to the arena resort just round the corner and felt that we were in a 5 star resort no I am not joking and it was the same price but that is what the gamble you take when booking somewhere you have not been we made the best of what we had and a few days in the sun that's got to be better than going to work

We enjoyed our holiday in the Aloe Club Resort. Food and drinks were good and we had same complaint as others had - there was no quiet place to have a drink after dinner. It was too cold to sit outside and we don't generally enjoy entertainment provided. Our room had no English speaking channels on it so that was out of the question too!

Staff were very friendly and helpful and would recommend the hotel to others.

Do not waste your hard earned money on staying here, on arrival sat 25th Jan we were told to wait 2 hours for our room (supposed to have been available from midday). We were placed in the green section at back of hotel below road level, which was the main bus route. Room seemed ok until I entered the bathroom which had a window at ceiling level with no covering and no shower certain, that was when I noticed the buses n passengers looking in. We complained to reception and asked to move and were told they could fix the problem as the cleaners had not been so they would bring shower curtain, or we could wait till Mon 27th in reception for another room!!! the receptionist was very rude (didn't get her name). We took the room as we were tired and just wanted to relax and unpack, a bloke turned up and put sticky opaque plastic over the window (which would not open having been stuck shut) we also got a shower curtain. List of other issues, light socket in bathroom exposed wires so was left on due to risk of shock, window above bed did not lock and could be opened from outside, holes in walls and ceiling (I think from previous occupants due to noise from above) No hot water all week!!, stairs to room steep with hand rail that stopped two steps before the bottom with sharp edges not fixed properly, with a push it would have came off. No outside lights, so using the stairs at night was dangerous as my partner found out nearly breaking his ankle, I can only assume they thought the street lights outside complex was enough. No hot food all week in restaurant when we complained we were told to use the microwaves, by day two we were eating out putting extra cost to the holiday as we were all inc. The heated pool wasn't and all pools were dirty with tiles missing and sharp edges. If you wanted hairdryers, heaters, safe key and kettle you had to pay extra and not all rooms had air con (we didn't).Should have known something was wrong when our transfer bus driver laughed when we told him where we were staying!! This hotel is definitely not a four star as advertised by tripadvisor and many holiday agents, I would strongly suggest not staying at aloe club if you want to enjoy your holiday.

I travelled with a friend and we very much enjoyed our stay here. Two of us were sharing a four-bed apartment so we had loads of space. The apartment was very clean and well maintained. The beds were hard but not uncomfortable and the hot water sometimes ran a bit lukewarm after a long shower but the weather was good so it didn't really matter.

There was a wide selection of food and we both always found something to eat but it wasn't the best food ever. The way to describe it would be 'you get what you pay for'. That being said, we really enjoyed the food they served on Spanish night (as expected, it was some of their best).

The staff were polite and helpful and were more than happy to book taxis for us. We ended up getting quite a few taxis as the hotel was located a little further out of Corralejo than we had anticipated. Taxis to town were cheap though and cost less than 5€.

Overall we were very satisfied with the hotel and Corralejo although if you're looking for some nightlife, don't go in January!
