Perfect holiday for myself and my boyfriend (25 and 22)

If you're looking at these reviews thinking "Wow that's bad" then you're wrong! People on here are moaning for no reason! If you want 5* then pay for it! And those of you moaning that the place was a desert....well done...the whole island is! That's not the hotels fault you obviously chose the wrong island to travel to!

Anyway!

Staff are fantastic! Friendly and helpful and always smiling.
We got on especially well with Adnan and Carmen!
Adnan took us out to town in the evenings and got us into some bars and clubs, free shots!
Great nights out, he got everyone involved. Managed to keep everyone from our hotel together too and there were a fair few of us from all over...England, Scotland, Poland, France! We all got on and had a great time!

We also did activities during the day, darts, archery, rifle shooting, water polo, there is so much to do here! A group of special needs adults were staying at this hotel at the same time as us and Carmen and Adnan were particularly good with them. They got us all playing games together and were extremely friendly and patient throughout or stay.

Evening entertainment was hilarious!
We were on the stage dancing, playing games, running around the room.
People saying it's rubbish should lighten up, you're on holiday!

Pools great, huge, one heated, children's pool too!
Luckily we went mid September so still had averagely good weather and was pretty empty!
One day we had a few spots of rain and had all of the pools to ourselves!

Town isn't far away, not a 40 min walk, unless you walk really slow!
A cab only costs 4 Euros anyway!

Did some excursions too!
The trip to Isla de Lobos is fab!
Looks like rocks but once you explore there is a beautiful beach with such clear water it's amazing!
Catamaran trip there is fab too, unless you get a show off guy trying to impress a tart like we had, feeding her tuna fish and champagne whilst she layed topless and he fondled her! Slightly inappropriate! But hey! Other than that great trip, nice food, got to get off and snorkel too! Trip for adults though def!

Snorkeling trip was great, wet suits and flippers provided. Octopus, star fish, some weird thing that releases red dye! Pretty cool! Free drinks and fair amount of time on the sea!

Wanted to do the nights sky trip to see the stars but unfortunately it's only on one day so we didn't manage to get booked up in time :( we were only there for a week though.

Quad biking was amazing too! Leader said usually there is a whole group of us but as it was school time it was just me, my partner and the instructor! He didn't speak much English, but luckily my boyfriend speaks fluent Italian and so did he so they got on great.
He took us all round the Island, showed us loads of slights, up volcanoes and into craters, to a bar and even paid for our drinks bless him! He was really lovely!

Reception staff were very helpful, lovely young girls always smiling. Helped us with trips and always said good morning and asked how we were.

There is a little shop inside the hotel called Canary Style and the guy that runs it was lovely too. Again he didn't speak much English but was helpful where he could be, smiling always and again always said hello and asked how we were.

Bar and restaurant staff were nice. Sometimes stressed but they had hundreds of mouths to feed so that's expected. Bar does shut early-ish if your a late couple like us, and the resort is generally put to bed after midnight. You have to be fairly quiet too or you get told off! But that's just general respect for others.

Food great, plenty of choice. My partner is extremely fussy so we were worried, but he always found a few options a day. I even tried veal and goat! Great puddings each day too!

Our apartment was lovely, we were upgraded in our package for no extra cost so had a one bedroom self-catering apartment just for us!
Great bathroom, nice shower! Adnan even said our bathroom was better than his haha!
Comfy beds, nice sofa and balcony. Great sized room. Felt very privileged.

Bus to the beach took 15 mins, was quite packed but that's only because people didn't want to walk! Just had to make sure you got there early to catch it. Beach beautiful, white sand, pretty much empty, great clear sea. Slightly windy, but that's what this island is famous for!

Not sure how much else I can say?!
Perfect holiday for us especially as we booked a week before we went!
£400 for a week 9th-16th of September All Inclusive....honestly couldn't have asked for anymore!

Perfect :)

Thank you Aloe Club Resort....we will definitely be back.
Nicola and Stefano x

We had a great stay at this hotel. The apartments are decent sized, very clean and with a balcony looking out at the pool. Curtains could do with a refurbishment. Staff are friendly and helpful.

We did not opt for the all inclusive as we weren't sure of the vegetarian options but really wish that we had done so. On the one evening that we had dinner there, upon discussion with the chef, he customised a lot of dishes to suit us. He made vegetarian pizza, paella with vegetables, pasta with tomato sauce. Apart from that there were many vegetarian salads and desserts and the staff took the effort to explain what goes into each dish. The complimentary drink that comes with buffet was alcoholic and since I do not take alcohol and declined the same, I was pleasantly surprised when they made a complimentary non alcoholic cocktail just for us.

The hotel is located about 15 minutes walk from the town centre and 3 kms away from the beautiful correlejo beach. You can either walk if you are upto it or take a taxi which costs only about 6 euros.

There is also a tiny but lovely beach located a few minutes away from the hotel.

The main beach is absolutely amazing with fine sand and dunes. You can see the sunrise in the on a non cloudy day and we were fortunate enough to view one. The beach is a long stretch and offers plenty of privacy. The correlejo beach is one of the most romantic beaches we have ever been to.

Overall had a splendid time in correlejo!

Just returned from a week's holiday and we couldn't fault this resort!

The complex itself is fairly big with two different pool areas outside plus the restaurant, and a little shop on site. The room we had was great, a good size and very clean. Nothing fancy but it had everything we needed, and a lovely view of the pools.

We were all inclusive - the food was excellent - really good variety with theme nights such as Italian, Chinese and Spanish. There was fresh fruit and salad at every meal plus a good range of mains and puddings and ice creams!

The staff are brilliant, really friendly and helpful. The animation team were particularly enthusiastic, with lots organised during the day for kids and adults alike. The evening entertainment wasn't very exciting for a couple in their twenties, but there is a great range of bars on the seafront in Corralejo which made up for it. Taxis to the town are only 3-4 euros.

If you are up for some exploring, we would really recommend going to an island called Isle de Lobos. The ferry from the town was 15 euros return, and it was well worth going - beautiful beaches and volcanic land to explore. There is only one restaurant and you have to book on the day - turn right when you get there and walk for about 10 minutes - would definitely recommend it for the view alone, although the paella was particularly good!

Room Tip: upgrade your room to a balcony terrace. we were offered a £40 upgrade which we were pleased with when we got there.

Just spent a week here with the family and I can honestly say we will be returning without a doubt! The staff are wonderful and work very hard. The hotel is clean with lovely spacious rooms. The food was great and there was something for everyone I would say. Plenty of room round the pools. Easy to walk into town or take the free bus. Nearby beach not great but free bus to Waikiki beach or the sand dunes on alternate days from the hotel. The old town is nice for a wander. The hotel entertainment was ok, the evening entertainment could have been better but we hadn't gone for the entertainment, we went for a lovely chilled out relax in the sun with good food and drink and all the boxes were ticked! Our party ranged in age from 3-68 including teenagers and we were all happy! It is not posh but it is very family friendly and I honestly couldn't fault it!

We have just returned from a week's stay and had a great time! The apartments are spacious and extremely clean. The pool was a little cold but this may be due to us visiting in April. All the staff were very helpful and friendly and the play park and ping pong tables were well used by our five year old. There were plenty of sunbeds and seating outside the bar and the property itself is very attractive and well-maintained. Be warned though - the evening entertainment was dire and I was so pleased that we were self-catering. We were able to eat and drink in the local resort of Corralejo without having to endure cringeworthy games, congas and the like. The guy providing the entertainment tried very hard but he was totally out of his depth. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was ok, plenty of choice. We were a little disappointed not to be nearer to Corralejo itself (about a 10 - 15min walk to the nearest shop) but taxis are so cheap (4 Euros to return from the centre) that this was not really a problem. We had a lovely meal in La Tasca and a small bar called Cannes on the main street and there were some great bands on in the pubs across the road from here. The beaches are gorgeous and they are very close to a huge variety of bars, shops, cafes and restaurants. All in all a very relaxing and enjoyable family holiday.

Room Tip: All the rooms looked to be of similar size and quality. We were in 218 which had the sun on the balcony until around 12pm.
