“Excellent place to stay!”
Reviewed 6 July 2014 via mobile

I absolutely loved my stay at the Radisson Blu hotel. I would highly recommend it to everyone. Breakfast was great and included everything you could think of.
The staff were very friendly and very helpful when needed.
The only thing I would suggest would be to get some air conditioning in the gym as it's rather hot but that wouldn't stop me returnig again.
Loved every minute and didn't want to leave to come home!

We stayed here for my wife's 30th birthday. On arrival our room was upgraded (it was quiet season) to the next one up. We also had a wonderful surprise bottle of sparkling wine and cake waiting for us the next day after we had popped out. The hotel itself is very clean and stylish, the rooms very spacious and well equipped. The grounds are slightly elevated from the coastal path, making it feel more private and exclusive. The outside pool area in the setting sun looks like a dream fantasy. It is quiet (which we liked), but there is plenty for families to do as well as being easy to access other parts of the island/surrounding area. We ate in all parts of the hotel, including room service and even food in our room from the on site supermarket which was only a few cents more expensive than the regular supermarkets in town. I was however disappointed with my burger in 222 - it is meant to be more fine dining but some things you just shouldn't mess with! Overall couldn't really fault the place - restaurant food a little expensive (expected) and the place can be quiet. p.s. they even obeyed the towel on the rail/floor rule which is a pet peeve of mine when they just replace all of the towels regardless!

I was really surprised about the kindness and professionalism of the staff in the Pool Bar, La Canaria Restaurant and breakfast. They are really amazing. Specially if you have kids, they know how to treat them.

Just spent 7 nights at this hotel with our 2 1/2 year old. We were looking for a holiday that was relaxing for us and where our son could have an enjoyable time at the pool. The hotel and staff delivered on our expectations. We were staying half board and the food was very good and varied. The waitering staff were excellent with a specific mention of both Francisco and Juan who were so helpful and friendly towards the 3 of us. If you are looking for a holiday lazing around the pool, this hotel is ideal.

Room Tip: 405 was a great room, close enough to the lift and far enough away to not be noisy :)

Just wanted to say that we had an amazing time at this hotel . Firstly, the rooms were to a very high standard and had everything we could have wished for and more, including a lovely jacuzzi on the balcony. The pools were nice and refreshing and it was never too busy with the option of 3/4 different ones. The food was very pleasing and there was a great variety. A large buffet where you can choose more or less anything you want. Staff were extremely friendly from day 1 to day 7 and really added towards us having a fantastic holiday. Really does make the holiday a lot more pleasant when you're surrounded by warm and welcoming people. Beaches were really accessible and created a lovely environment as everything was so close. Anfi Del Mar beach was a lovely beach which was about a 5 minute walk away with some lovely shops and the choice of lots of water sports. The sports at the hotel were fun also with the choice of tennis, table tennis, volleyball courts and mini tennis. This hotel has everything. I would rate it 10/10 every time because I cannot fault anything about this place... Faultless.

Just spent a week at the Radisson Blu in Gran Canaria. It was amazing - the picturesque but quiet setting, hotel staff, rooms, facilities, food + the glorious sunshine and blue sky/sea. The hotel really made it for us. Usually we race round on city breaks and in museums - this time we decided to take it easy - boy was it worthwhile!

It is the little things that matter too - we really appreciated the glass of chilled Cava on arrival, the hot tub on the balcony of my daughter's room; they also allowed us to stay in our rooms late in the afternoon on day of departure - we did not leave till 4pm.

We would definitely recommend it.

Room Tip: All the rooms look to be good and are sea facing. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub on daughter...

Having just returned from a 5 night stay at this fantastic hotel with my family including two children, what can I say except fantastic!
The hotel is situated in a brilliant location, within a very short walking distance to a choice of 3 beaches. Rooms are very luxurious and have everything you would need for the holiday. All the rooms have the most amazing views of the beach and if you can stretch your budget to a superior room, do it, you won't regret it! Staff at la canaria restaurant were superb, very friendly and welcoming, great interaction with all the children which was quite entertaining to watch. As we had certain dietary requirements, the chef made us lovely pancakes for us at breakfast which was a real treat!
May and June are quiet at the hotel and therefore we had plenty of sun beds etc and most of the time had the pool to ourselves in the evening.
There's not much entertainment at the hotel in the evenings but Anfi beach is just a short stroll away.
Taxis can be expensive but the buses (more like coaches) are very good and convenient for visiting the local attractions like aqualand, palmitos park, mas palomas etc.
If you are looking for a relaxing, no fuss break, this is the place to be at.
Definitely one to return to.
