We arrived quite late for the "menu del dia" which posed no problem for the (very warm and welcoming) host/waiter. Food was excellent and served with a genuine smile and a nice bottle of house red.
It's well worth it to fork up another two euros for a more "premium" main dish.
It's a shame we were in town only for a day, would've loved to give this one a go for dinner as well.
