Small and cute hotel with family atmosphere, where the personal treatment recived was excellent as usual, make it feel like you're at home. Clean, comfortable, relaxing atmosphere, a swimming pool it seems totally private and out of all noise, totally calm and no noise from other guests staying on the hotel. Really very good value for money. Pol, the owner, always attentive to your needs. Totally recomended if you don't want the typical massive tourists resort and you are looking for something else.

Room Tip: The refurnished rooms are highly recomended, maybe little bit more expensive but at the top floor bu...

This is a great hotel – we stayed for only one night, but wish it had been longer. The location is good, the owners are friendly, and the price is great! This definitely looked like the best hotel in the area ahead of time, and we were not disappointed.

We stayed here in the second week of september 2013 - we booked a package deal last minute, and after trawling trip advisor decided to take a punt. We felt we bagged a great deal as we were just in time for the National Day on the 11th Sept which we didn't know would be happening, but it was a great experience and I would recommend to anyone who is interested in going somewhere to learn about it as well as get a tan.

The hotel is small and clean, and because it was technically the last week of the season, it was quiet, i.e. no kids running around and & brits embarrassing us sane ones. I felt for what we paid we received excellent accommodation, our room looked out onto the pool, which was always empty, and there was no noise from the streets, day or night! (it was still relatively busy so I was amazed you couldn't hear anything)

For the whole week we stayed there I think we only saw one other couple who were in the next room - never heard them through the night and never saw anyone else at the pool, so it felt very peaceful and luxurious in that respect.

The room was actually really big even though I suspect it wasn't one of the newly refurbished rooms, it had charm and felt traditional and well loved, as all the furniture was nice and all worked fine (no cupboards falling apart, or rusty taps, etc). There was a big three door wardrobe recessed into the corner of the room which is the same size as our own at home so we had no problem for storage. we could even keep our luggage in there.

Locality to Calella is pretty much second to none - you're in the centre of the three long shopping streets and you're at the widest part of them so you can have a great walk around and see everything without being really far away from the hotel, at any time. You're also three blocks north from the beach, two blocks south from the carpark where a lot of the excursions leave from (you just have to cross a main highway) and within spitting distance of a lot of great restaurants and tavernas. The nightclub block is also one block west across a main road.

They lock the door at night and a night guard lets you in, he's a nice guy and welcomed us on our first night when we were unsure of what to expect after an hour on a coach from the airport (again we were lucky as we were only the second stop) The people who run the hotel are lovely, very amenable and full of helpful advice if you want it. Similarly, if you want to be left alone they won't pester you.

If like us you're a young couple who are looking to get away and have a bit of peace and quiet, maybe spend a day on the beach then go to Barcelona (it only takes an hour on the train and the station again is about 4 blocks east from the hotel) then mill about, not be too far away from everything but not have to walk for miles, then this is definitely the place for you. I can't say what it might be like in high season but as the place is quite small I can't imagine it loses any of its local 'traditional yet organised' charm.

Room Tip: Ask for a pool side room as we faced away from the street and clearly this stopped a lot of local no...

The hotel was spotlessly clean, the staff were very friendly, the breakfast was just right and well priced at five euro. The pool area was spotless, relaxing and very helpfully the pool was in the shade from lste sfternoon, ehich was a welcome break from the hestbof the sun. The location was great, close to beach, resturaunts etc. All in all a very nice little hotel.

Nice little hotel with great location. Couple of minutes from the Calella beach and close to all restaurants and bars. Verry friendly staff, communication in English is great. We stayed in new rooms wich are spacious and clean. WiFi is in all hotel areas including rooms. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a good deal.

Room Tip: We stayed in new rooms and they are great.

What a gem this place is, literally 5 minutes from the beach, has it's own pools which gets a good amount of shade in the day (god knows you need it in Calella) and the must have, Ar Conditioning. Managed by the ever so nice Paul who is as helpful as he is friendly, you cannot ask for more from a hotel. Sure it's only 2 star, but exactly what do you need from a 4 star hotel in a resort as nice as Calella?

Room Tip: Try and get one at the front of the building, it has the most shade.
