“Good location, excellent stay A+ for cleanliness”
Reviewed 23 June 2010

We stayed here for 5 nights relaxation and chillout time in Oct 2008. It had received some poor reviews regarding noise and overpowering smells of cleaning fluids. I cannot agree with those reviews. Although it made our minds up that mainland spain is not "our cup of tea" I can't fault the hotel. The titanic theme was interesting, food was excellent, the hotel was spotlessly clean. Being all inclusive was a refreshing change for us too, not having to choose a restaurant every night. The AI card was valid at the beach bar too for a couple of drinks. The pool is small, but I don't like swimming or lounging by it so that was fine by me. We walked up to the ruined castle and wandered round the town, as it was October, there was a munich style beer festival off the promenade, which was fun. Our room was on the 3rd floor with a massive balcony (overlooking the storm drain, well you can't have it all) and we could see the sea while sitting out enjoying the late afternoon sun. It had good storage, bathroom was clean and adequate with toiletries supplied

Have just returned from here with a group of other girls (hen party). The rooms are basic, but big enough, clean. There is a TV, mini fridge, hairdryer in the room. TV has about 3 english channels, including itv. The rooms were cleaned daily and towels changhed if needed.

The food was hit or miss. No way was this 4* standard, I have been on many all inclusive and the food here is like your typical 3 star hotel, not much choice and pudding was usually some liquid mush or little spanish cakes.

The pool area is tiny, would hate to have been there peak season as there is only about 20 sun beds around the pool.
The hotel itself, is clean and tidy. Service at the bar is ok, they get through the que pretty quick but are very strict on your two drinks per person rule.

There is a smoking room with internet and comfy leather sofa's, very nice for a chill after a night out.

Found it handy that there is a shower cubical and a shower over the bath, great as we were 4 girls sharing.

The entertainment was pretty much non exisitant but they did put the odd show on and day time quiz, but as a group we made our own entertainment.
Something I noted is that the spirts (alcohol) is alot weaker over there then here, the vodka was only 25% vol where as here it is around 40% vol so it takes a few drinks before you even feel like you have had one.

All in all the hotel is ok for a cheap get away, nothing special and is set in a great location 5min from the beach.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights for a nice relaxing break with our grandsons, well we booked this hotel because of its location and because it is rated a four star. Well the tourist board representatives must of been drunk or been paid a back hander. The food was totally rubbish, there was not anything tasty to eat apart from jam on toast in the morning,I am serious, now we have stayed in some rubbish hotels over the years, but this one is top of our crappy list. The pool is nice but the trouble is for the size of the hotel there is only 34 sunbeds to go round. The staff were nice and made the most of what was to offer. Please don`t book this hotel unless you get real good price , like two quid a night,

When looking at past reviews I found myself quite excited about the holiday and I wasn’t disappointed- it was everything that it promised to be. Now don’t get me wrong I have stayed in better 4 star hotels but not at this price.

The rooms are clean and tidy and cleaned daily. The hotel itself has a nice theme throughout and is a 2 minute walk from the beech- where there is a bar that your all inclusive card is accepted for 2 drinks during the day. It was our first time for the all inclusive and we were so impressed with it we have booked again for are next holiday. The food and drinks were very good- again I have eaten better food and tasted higher quality drinks but that’s not to say it wasn’t very good. We only stayed for a week and I can imagine that it any longer it would get a bit samey.

The staff all in all were good, some could of used a smile but remember that they rarely receive tips due to the all inclusive. The only really negative is the pool being a little small and it being on the side of a road, they hid the road very well but there were some road works and the noise sometimes spoilt my deep relaxation with my free drinks.

The end point is that this hotel is excellent value for money and definitely will go back again, if you’re going enjoy you stay :)

We booked fairly last minute with on the beach holidays. Hotel was about 45 mins transfer from Girona.

Location: Were pleased to find it is literally only 5 mins walk from the entrance to beach, and it is a nice beach with plenty of sand and space (May half-term). Plenty of shops around and easy access to town centre for shopping. About 15 mins walk from train station where there are regular and high quality trains to Barcelona
Layout / appearance: Hotel itself is Titanic themed, rather strangely, but very clean and well layed out with the pool (a bit on the small side), bar area and a big lounge on the entrance floor. You can get a sunbed by the pool if you get out there about 9am. There is also a gym/spa we did not use this. On first floor is a big restaurant (if it looks full, there are more rooms to the right of the entrance).
Food: Lots of other reviewers found this a problem. There are decent buffets provided for each meal, with plenty of food e.g. sausages, bacon & eggs for breakfast, salad and meats for lunch. Nothing spectacular but you certainly have a choice and it is tasty enough. This was fine for breakfast and lunch, but a bit inadequate for main meals where you wanted something a bit special. Vegetarian in party complained that the vegetarian options were limited for the main meals.
Rooms - Comfortable beds, TV with english channels, mini-fridge that was free to use, plenty of storage, decent bathrooms though the shower above bath was better than the separate shower. Hairdryer, shampoo etc included. Cleaned properly every day.
Entertainment: Not great to be honest, two days was cancelled, a bit of live music and a disco were on while we were there, but it was more kids dancing than adults. ents staff seemed to be doing their best without proper facilities or budget.

read reviews before going and agree with most.nice hotel themed on the titanic and like the ship its sinking fast.food very disapointing, breakfasts i could live with, spanish bacon ,sausage etc but the other meals were never ever 4 star.seafood almost non existant - fish always labeled as white fish-could have been anything.meat always cheapest.for example- turkey thighs, pigs knuckles, calf kidney pie-no i'm not joking!! the staff in the bar were pig ignorant, pool small(not that it mattered cos weather was bad ) and the entertainment was enough to drive a man to drink which is exactly what i did. half way thru the week found alkatraz bar and spent rest of holiday watchin football ,crap karaoke, bingo, talking to like minded drunken englishmen and having a good time !!!!!

A group of 10 adults and 1 child went for 8 nights all inclusive. No kids club as advertised when asked we were told it was still winter so it was not being opened even though there were 6-8 kids there. The entertainment was ONLY for SPANISH PEOPLE even though the hotel was full of scottish, english, russian and some french people.Bar staff was always looking down their noses at you until you paid for a drink then they were all over you in the hope of getting a tip.The Beach Bar was a joke we called the men running it Happy and Smiler. For this hotel to be classed as 4 star is a joke unless you as spanish.
