It was a good hotel with friendly staff .
Very fine location , you just have to through the street to find the station and the beach. A shopping street + restaurants are even closer .
The only thing I didn't like that much was that you had to use the key-card as key for electricity , so when you left the airconditioning went off and also things you were charging.

We (Mum, Dad, Daughter - 17 and Son - 16) stayed here 08-08-12 to 16-08-12 on a self-catering basis. It's a well run hotel. Nice pool area with plenty of loungers plus tables under large parasols available for all to us. Reasonably priced drinks and food in the bar / restaurant area with 2 pool tables and some video games in situ for the younger ones to use. Our room was clean and spacious. The air-con was fantastic and we'd have struggled to sleep in the heat without it. A standard sized Fridge and an electric double Hob ring were provided although ideally a small Oven would also have been nice! A daily maid service ensured fresh towels and toilet paper were available to us if we required them. The staff were friendly and helpful. The beach (it's lovely) is a 10-minute walk away with plentiful shops, bars and restaurants in reach just a few minutes away from the hotel. The origin of the guests seemed to be a mix of German, Spanish, French, British and Dutch - probably in this order! We'd recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

Room Tip: Ask for a room where the balcony overlooks the pool - the ones that overlook the surrounding streets have a less attractive view.

just back from a weeks holiday here with my 15 year old son and my 6 year old girl and my wife.
firstly the apartment was lovely and very spacious with a balcony overlooking the pool. it was cleaned regularly with towels replaced also. the air conditioning was brilliant. the pool was a lovely size and never any problems getting seats. all of the staff were excellent including the owner and all seemed genuinely concerned in giving you the best service possible. a special mention must go to the girl who runs all the activities including the mini club and the nightly mini discos which my little girl loved.
we went half board the food was lovely but the choice was very limited - 2 main courses 2 starters plus soup, same desserts every night. the breakfast choice was the same everyday.
this is a very quiet hotel with a security guard patrolling every night from 11.30 onwards. there were a lot of 17-18yr old dutch kids here celebrating their final school exams but we didnt hear any great amount of noise from them any night - although some other guests seemed to have done so.
the hotel is only a 5 min easy walk from beach and from the train station. be aware to wear sandals on this beach the sand particles are quite large and tough on the soles of the feet.
the hotels staff ran a surf party for the kids on the beach which my little girl loved. also an excellent barbecue on one night.
the main shopping street nearby which brings you on a 15 min stroll into old town centre - this is a genuinely catalonian town with beautiful old buildings and architecture not an artificial resort.
the one knock back for me was with their vigilance with security at night there was rarely anybody in the bar after 11pm where i do enjoy a pint or 2 when on holidays.
the entertainment was good , especially the clown who all of us found hilarious. the magician was great to get everyone involved. 2 of the nights entertainment took place in the sister hotel miami across the road but the guy on the microphone ruined it for us as even when he spoke english you couldnt understand him.
overall we loved this hotel and were very well looked after and felt at the price it was great value for money.

Room Tip: look for a room with a pool view. others face out into street

This accommodation was fantastic for the price. Although basic it is very clean our apartment was serviced daily with clean towels, the staffs were very hospitable to us and the pool was great and we never had to reserve sun beds as there was plenty to go around.
It is about 500m from the main beach, the beach itself was not the best for kids as it was not the kind of sand you can build sand castles with and the Sea became deep within about 3m from the shore line.
The main tourist part of Calelle was about 1.5km away and this was where the majority of good bars and restaurants were located. It was nice walk to get there walking down the main street.
We booked our holiday through lowcostholidays.com the service we received from them was good. However the transfer from and to the Hotel by ResortHoppa was appalling. The driver got lost spoke no English, lost a suitcase and after about 1hr 45 minutes on the bus with no air conditioning we decided to get off and get a taxi to our resort, our return trip wasn’t much better. We waited over 45mins for the bus to arrive and then on our way to the airport the bus drivers phone rang as he had forgotten to pick up a family and so we had to turn round! I know it is more expensive to transfer via taxi but in my opinion worth the money you will spend half the day on a bus when you should be by the pool.
Enjoy

While the people were VERY nice, we were quite disappointed with the hotel. It was clean, and very basic, which is fine, but it was quite uncomfortable because the air conditioning wasn't available until June 15th. It was very warm in our room, day and night, and frankly, it made it very uncomfortable for sleeping. We spent almost three weeks at the hotel and it was hot in our room.
The room is not fancy, but clean and very basic. There is a small kitchenette, which we did like so we could enjoy coffee in the mornings. The kitchen came equipped with an electric tea kettle, fridge, and hot plate and some dishes and cooking utensils which was nice.

Room Tip: If you want wifi, the second floor hasn't had internet in several years, per other Trip Advisor reviews. We had to have our room moved to another floor because we had no internet.
