The good bits:- rooms cleaned everyday.
pool on the roof good but very small and need to get there early before the Germans to get on a sun bed only about 20 up there.
Close to beach.
Good sea view.
The bad bits :- Food typical Spanish buffet nothing to write home about.
No entertainment except 2 old people playing some CDs that kept jumping I think they called this a disco! Lol.
Main swimming pool is tiny 6m x 4m and was told by the Spanish waiter not to get the side of the pool wet???
80% of guest are rude Germans that just stare and try to push in front of you.
Other than 2 pool tables at 2€ ago nothing else to do on site.
This is a young persons hotel Not for families.

Just back from the hotel and it was nice.
The room became available at 13.30. It was room 711 end room away from lifts overlooking the road with a side sea view.
Bathroom was lovely as was the rest of the room, it all looked freshly decorated and bedding and curtains looked new. Very comfortable, very quiet.
The dining room was small, selection was adequate, breakfast was better than evening meal. Staff okay, not unfriendly but don't go out of there way to speak to you, maybe due to amount of nationalities staying at the hotel?
The front outside pool is a waste of time, too small and no sun until after 4pm.
The roof top pool is gorgeous, really quiet with amazing views, only small though, only 25 beds!
I wouldn't recommend anyone stay her all inclusive. There's no toilet or bar on the roof and I certainly wouldn't want to be sat downstairs in the shade all day. Little/no entertainment.
Burgers, hot dogs and pizzas as snacks downstairs by the bar, 2 euro if your buying.
I'd go again:)

First visited 13th May for 2 weeks room 402. Overall a very classy and comfortable hotel. The staff, food and general ambiance, plus the sea view made for a very very relaxed and enjoyable holiday, we have already re-booked for mid October.

Room Tip: Sea view, high floor (can't be beaten)

great beach , great town and ...of course , the great hotel
had opportunity to be there in June 2012 but hope no big changes till now(2014/03) Tasty and fresh food , clean rooms, splendid views , good location ,friendly and hard working staff,....
bad: big swimming club pool nearby hotel- training starts at early mornings , very irritating noises !
the similar thing with street site rooms or lower floors of so called 'seeview' rooms ,
Sometimes to crowd in quit small hotel restaurant.

Room Tip: definitely 6th or upper floors on see view side. The best option is 9th floor with terrace instead...

we stayed there with my boyfriend for 5 days. It is in a very good location, very close to seaside and all shops and restaurants. The swimmin gpool at the top is quite small and not deep enough but the view is amazing and its very modern. One thing disaponted that you had to pay for air con. Otherwise food variety was good, but i would choose different hotel to stay next time.

I stayed here on a Ferris coach trip, entire thing cost me £250 for four nights at the hotel including the coach travel. Reception staff speak perfect English and the hotel is generally in good condition. You can tell they spend money on this place.

Entrainment wise forget it, the bar was always dead but there is plenty to do in Calella anyway I don't know why people would want to spend all the time at the hotel. Again as for the pool, the beach is just round the corner anyway.

This hotel is quite a bit cheaper than some of the bigger ones, and has better reviews. The only downside I would mention is the paper thin walls. The food was average, I did eat it every night but if I was there longer I would have eaten out more.

People need to remember they are not in the UK and tastes are different.

Full size safes in the reception were a bonus too, and the air conditioning was free providing you leave a deposit for the remote control. It seems some of the negative reviews about this hotel are out of date, when perhaps it had no air conditioning and rude reception staff.

Would I stay here again? It depends, I would if it was still as cheap and I visit Calella again.
