The Hotel Meisser was an excellent choice and a wonderful introduction to Switzerland. The owners and staff made a great contribution to our stay - they were extremely friendly and efficient. Our room in the 17th century building was beautiful and full of character and highly appropriate fixtures and fittings whilst also presenting 21st century comfort. Meals were of a very high standard - this included the picnic lunch.
The village and surrounding area were stunning and were so atmospheric.
Well done.

Spent very pleasant 5 nights here in early June. The hotel is beautifully located in the village overlooking the valley and has lots of spots inside and out for relaxing and enjoying the beauty and tranquility. I had a single room which had been renovated recently and was well fitted out. The food is excellent with a good buffet at breakfast and a 4 course changing set menu for dinner (if you are on HB) with a choice of main courses. My only minor quibble about the food is that I didn't find the deserts (while perfectly adequate) to be at the same level as the rest of the food. The owners and staff were always very helpful and friendly. They also have very serviceable mountain bikes which they lend out. Overall a great place to stay which I highly recommend.

Best hotel on my trip from Munich to Barcelona. Gracefully, but not solemnly. Hospitably. Quiet location with stunning views. Got a great discount, arrived very late after driving 750 miles on mountain roads of France.

The Hotel Meisser gets an A+ on all counts: charming, beautiful room (ours had been renovated recently and sported a beautiful bath with a very deep soaking tubs-perfect after a day of hiking!), great views, a large lawn overlooking the mountains (perfect for reading, napping, etc), charming village, access to excellent hiking, friendly staff who make you feel like you are part of the family, and a great restaurant with a creative chef at the helm. We stayed for 4 nights and would have been happy to stay much longer. This hotel has it all. Highly recommended.

Come to relax in this beautiful family run hotel. Enjoy the panorama of the mountains of the Engadin valley from the garden terrace in a hammock chair, or sit by the fire in the lounge, this is a place of comfort and peace. Hand crafted furniture and downy beds in the spacious wood paneled rooms provide the pleasures and comfort of a Swiss chalet. The bathrooms are modern and among the very best we have encountered. The best of all are the friendly and attentive staff who make you feel part of the family. The chef is great and you can enjoy elegant dining from a menu that changes daily. Selections are limited but not restricting. The young staff are very friendly and amazingly efficient. Outdoor hiking equipment is available for use. The combination of family friendliness and superior comfort makes for a wonderful stay. There are no TVs in the main hotel to break the tranquility, but there a couple of rooms in the annex that have them.

My husband and I spent two nights at Hotel Meisser. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had wonderful views. The walks/hikes in the area are phenomenal. The staff was very helpful and we enjoyed having breakfast and dinner in the hotel dining room. They even packed a picnic lunch for us when we were were out walking all day! We will return.

Room Tip: Ask for one of the newly refurbished rooms on the top floor.

Restaurant serves very good food in an chic environment. Will go back!
