I stayed here on business for 1 night.

The photographs looked lovely, however the accommodation was actually in a separate building a few minutes from the main reception and restaurant/bar area.

The room was more than adequate, large, clean and comfortable. There was also a little rubber duck in the bathroom which instructed you in Dutch to take it on your travels.

Breakfast was nice and in the Chapel, which was beautiful. Bar stayed open for us for a little while and all the staff were friendly and accommodating.

I spent one night in this hotel as part of a business trip.
Upon arrival at the reception, I was really charmed by the place... until I actually walked to my room, 3 mn from there, in a separate, charmless, very plain building.
The room was spotless clean, spacious and quiet, the bed comfortable, and the wifi free and easy to access. However there was nothing special to it all: the most basic amenities possible, impersonal decor...
Kudos for the chapel attached to the main building, which is used as a restaurant: it was quite something to have breakfast in such a stunning place - and the food was really nice (organic juices, fair trade spreads...).

Room Tip: If possible, avoid the separate building: it's ugly, and, if the weather's really cold, the...

When I arrived at the Golden Tulip my first thought was why they should have an hotel in the middle of nowhere (so highly priced, especially). The village is in fact a long road with few houses. Anyway, the hotel is nice. The rooms are actually 'apartments', very big in size but kind of old fashioned in the look. I thought that the room itself was a bit dusty, but it was OK for one night. Breakfast, served in the main building in an old chapel, was excellent.
Next time I'd rather stay in a bigger town as Breda.

We stayed for 2 nights at Hotel de Reiskoffer. The reception was very friendly giving us tips and advice about a cycling tour, when we rented their well maintained bicycles.
The hotel is situated between Breda and Roosendaal with easy access from the freeway about 5 minutes drive away. Breakfast in the old Monastery Chapel was a delicious start of the day.
We booked a superior deluxe room which was very spacious. A pity though
that there was no air-co and we had to make do with a tiny ventilator – and
that if you sat on the balcony that you had no view except a wooden balcony plank!

We stayed at the Golden Tulip which is about 8-10km outside Roosendaal, couldn't find a hotel with reasonable reviews in the town.
We had Saturday late lunch early Dinner which was excellent, the breakfast was not to be missed, an excellent variety on offer and very good quality bread all served in what might have been a Church once
The room was cavernous, comfortable and quiet. would go there again

Room Tip: Rooms are in a block a couple of minutes walk away from the main building set amongst a lot of trees...

The Reiskoffer was a great hotel to stay in, my husband and I got married in the area and 80 + guests were catered for. They did everything and more to make our time there perfect and hassle-free. The food was also amazing, especially the breakfast every morning which everyone looked forward to! The rooms were big and comfy and came with a little patio area (we were on the ground floor) which was nice. There is also a small spa with a sauna/steam room/jacuzzi which I used to unwind before the wedding. The hotel staff were also very accommodating and extremely helpful when it came to planning for 80 Irish guests!

Stayed here while visiting relatives in the South Holland area. Found the hotel generally very central to South Holland towns and villages. Access was easy to the major freeways to and from the hotel. Breakfast was included in the Monastery Chapel with a very good selection to start your day.
The rooms are very spacious with all the amenities of a good hotel!
Good value for a good European hotel.
Good pub, Cafe Stroop, a 100 meters towards Oudenbosch.
