We wanted somewhere to and a days seaside adventure. This was perfect. Quality fish and chips (served in a box, how else?), at great value prices, cold local ale and amazing view over the Atlantic. Who could ask for more!

I spent last Sunday night in this B&B. I slept and had breakfast the day after. The service was good and the room cleaned. I enjoyed the view :) the only disadvantage was that at 8:30pm the kitchen was closed, however there are other restaurants just 5 mins from there.

Spent 3 nights here mid-August and it was wonderful. Staff were all so friendly and went out of their way to accommodate any requests. Restaurant food was delicious and well priced, and the Full English was heaven. Really comfy beds and right on the beach. An absolutely lovely time was had!

Just back from a very relaxing time at this wonderful hotel: charming people running the place, perfect location and just what we needed. It's not a four star swanky number, thank goodness, but everything was clean etc. Breakfast was delicious, a dvd player in the room, a little grocery store next door, surf stuff to hire, an ice cream shack by the entrance to the beach. Heaven! Please can we all come for Christmas?

Room Tip: We did not have a room with a view, so try to get a view but the price reflected this I think

Had a great couple of nights here with our two teenage sons early August 2014. Superb location right on the beach, Easy parking, We only had the Breakfast which was spot on and a nice take away from next door. Friends of ours dined there one evening and said there meals were fantastic. Lovely friendly staff. Downstairs is really nice with superb sea and beach views. Rooms upstairs are due for a "make over" but they were clean and comfortable and anyway with so many great places so close by who wants to spend time in the room anyway:) Would definitively recommend.

Room Tip: We had family room at top of the hotel. Great views of Widemouth bay and very quiet.

Booked this as it was the only place with any rooms at the last minute.... How glad was I that I found it!! Such an idyllic location! Right on the beach that all the surf school come to... which was brilliant for my son.... just walk along the beach... lovely surf hire shop right next to hotel.... Ther takeaway food is just as good as the restaurant... but sitting in the restaurant/bar watching the sunset is wonderful..... A really lovely, unspoilt, chilled place. All the staff were lovely, helpful, professional, welcoming and friendly. Loved the quirky decor they have done downstairs. Whole place is very clean... I was warned that the rooms had not yet been renovated.... swirly carpeted and antiquated showers.... but bed was comfy, linen crisp and white, towels large and white and fluffy. Wifi was good... crab sandwiches lush! Pimm's perfect...
Loved it so much booked for next year before leaving! So relaxing and chilled......

Room Tip: If possible one with a balcony.... stunning views....

The most incredible location with fabulous views and access directly onto the beach. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and really helpful. Breakfast was delicious and a good choice. The rooms upstairs are rather dated as the booking in staff advise before booking and are clearly awaiting the upgrade that has been achieved downstairs but are really clean and the bedding crisp and fresh so we had a very comfortable night. The only downside was the aroma from the on site fish n chip shop in the cafe but the views and location made up for this. Can't help but feel that with the new owners this place is going places and I certainly would like to return. Worth a visit. X
