A small hotel but very good. The rooms are modern, well kept to a high standard.
The hotel restaurant is part of the pub but this works very well.
The staff were friendly and helpful, very welcoming.
I would recommend this hotel.

First time we'd stayed at a Premier Inn having sworn we would never stay at a Travel-Lodge or similar again but we couldn't fault it. Restaurant gets very busy recommend you book in advance. Superb breakfast and such good value for money with children eating free.

V pleased with our stay. Really comfy bed, lovely sheets and towels, lots of hot water and clean. Customer service excellent. The lady who checked us in on the Sat night of Aug bank hol was great and the manager of the restaurant next door was really friendly and efficient. All in all seems very well run. A good stay.

Used this hotel for 2 nights when visiting Alton Towers and we were very impressed with the hotel and it's staff.
All staff interaction did not seem forced and they seemed to have a genuine interest in us. Also very helpful and knowledgeable about any queries we had.
The room was clean and very comfortable, which is all you need and can ask for. Noise was at a minimum, despite our window being beside the road into the car park.
We used the attached Brewers Fayre for dinner and breakfast and the food was nice. Standard gastro-pub stuff but tasty so again you can't ask for more. Staff also very pleasant and helpful.
All in all, a very good hotel at a price that should have drawbacks... but doesn't.
Very happy customers.

Ok, so most of us at some time or another have stayed in a Premier Inn. This one was really nothing much different to the rest. We were on the upper part of the Inn and with no lift I'm glad they had no further floors above us as that was quite enough stairs to be carrying luggage up and down.
The young lady at reception was delightful and genuinely seemed to want us to have a pleasant stay. Breakfast was as usual - would stay again as clean and value for money

The extensive chain of Premier Inns offers a decent standard of motel, something missing in the UK until recently. Rooms are the same in each Inn, fairly basic with no frills but modern and clean and with comfortable beds. They try to ensure that clients get a good night's sleep and have introduced "quiet areas" in bedroom corridors. Car parks are secure in that there is 24 hour reception cover with cctv. Attached to most Inns is a Brewers Fayre family restaurant which offers breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is good - usually a buffet, but we do not enjoy eating there in the evening. The food is pretty average bar food and they are usually very busy with non-Inn guests attracted by the eat-all-you-can offers and the game machines. A pity that Whitbread don't provide something a little more upmarket. Prices vary according to location and are generally reasonable.
We thought this would be a suitable location for a break from the long drive back from Scotland, but were surprised to find that it was not directly accessible from the M6 Toll from the north. However it was only a few minutes from junction 12 of the M6 and easy to find, being on the edge of a busy roundabout. This is a small Inn attached to a large busy Brewers Fayre which can make parking for the hotel difficult. The entrance is around the back of the restaurant so a good thing that we did not have much luggage to carry. Windows have secondary glazing to reduce the traffic noise pretty effectively - you could just hear the buzzing of lorries. Room had aircon as one would not want to open the window because of traffic noise. The hot food at breakfast was served to order.
