The menu here has several old favourites but it is spiced up with some unusual additions such as beef daube and chilli garlic chicken. You don't often get the option of king scallops as a starter either!
The beef daube was superb and the meal was well presented on a warmed plate (it makes a difference).
The pub has a nice atmosphere and the staff are very friendly and happy to chat should you wish to strike up a conversation.
There is a selection of beers, of which the Old Mill Traditional and Winter Warmer real ales were particularly appreciated.
The decor was very interesting too, with various colourful guitars mounted on the walls here and there.
All in all, definitely worth a visit!
