Fantastic hotel with friendly staff, well worth a stay, food of a very good quality. I stopped in one of the rooms in the annex, very modern, very clean, I've look at all the other reviews and cant believe some of the comments, like I say the staff are very friendly and helpful,

Room Tip: Try the room with the balconies and Jacuzzi bath, modem and spacious

We stayed in this hotel as we attended eminem at Wembley, it's a beautiful hotel with lovely staff and very well priced!
It's in lovely location, we stayed in the garden lodges and had a lovely view. Can't comment on the breakfast, as we went to a local harvester for brunch which is about 5 mins away which is cheaper.
It's about 5 miles to Wembley which was £20 in a taxi, it took about an hour to get into the centre of London from the hotel due to traffic on Sunday morning.
All in all perfect hotel for a short stay like ours or lovely for a long weekend so you can explore the grounds!

W. S. Gilbert's former residence now a hotel. We were based in one of the chalets a short walk from the hotel making for a very quiet night in the extensive grounds. The bedroom was very well appointed and clean with the 3D television a bonus. Staff at the hotel were very helpful and the cooked breakfast greatly benefited by being a waiter service rather than help yourself to dried out offerings. All-in-all it was a very good hotel for the price and location.

Off the beaten track, in about 40 acres of grounds I believe, this is a bit of a haven. Loads of history about this place. The main hotel itself is certainly very grand and beautiful. I stayed in one of the lodges, a very short walk from the house and the accommodation is fine (although there are narrow stairs to the 1st floor). It's good for working if away on business. Rooms are large, clean, beds and pillows comfortable. Breakfast is freshly cooked and fantastic. (Fab scrambled eggs.) I had a bit of a delay over dinner as bar orders had been prioritised which I was less than happy about, but the calves liver I had was lovely. Would definitely stay again.

Driving through the gates, and heading down a long driveway with trees either side, you find it hard to remember that the busy town of harrow is just outside. It is really quiet here and a place to get away from it all. Checking in was easy. We stayed in an annex off the main house. Although we had a lovely room, if I stayed again, I would pay for a room in the hotel as this is a lovely old building. Dinner was lovely with great service. Afterwards we went for a walk in the hotel grounds with a pond, orchard and flowers everywhere. There is a good choice on offer at breakfast and everything cooked really well with great presentation. This is worth a stay if you are in the area. The only thing that was bad about it was that ours was a flying stop so not enough time to really enjoy it.

Room Tip: Stay in the main hotel and not the annex to get the best out of your stay here.

Just returned from a wonderful afternoon at this hotel. We had a guided tour of gardens and house, a home made cream tea (better than the Ritz my mother said) and enjoyed a performance by five fabulous singers. Our ages ranged from 17 to 86 and we all loved it. Book this great value event with confidence.

We were booked in for a family wedding and had booked for 2 nights so that we could visit London and do a show on the Friday night. When we checked in they had cocked up the booking, and only had us down for the second night, and had to shuffle rooms around. The check in staff sent us off to the room with the wrong sort of key. I requested a Saturday morning newspaper, and although this was on the computer system it hadn't been ordered so I didn't get one.
They did manage the whole wedding, including a sit down meal, very well. The building and garden are lovely.
