“A pleasure to be back here again - amazing value at £29”
Reviewed 18 January 2014

This was my second visit to this Premier Inn, located very near to Kenton tube station towards the northern end of the Bakerloo line. I stayed on a quiet Sunday night for a stopover whilst travelling between Sheffield and Winchester. I didn't mind the 30 or so minutes journey to Waterloo and once again this proved to be the cheapest Premier Inn hotel within easy access of the tube.

Being a light sleeper, I asked for a room (this was room 30) away from the rail line and in the annex, a short walk across the car park from the main block and Beefeater restaurant. This proved to be extremely quiet, especially as the side road facing my room is a no-through residential one. As a result, I slept very soundly.

As the hotel was quiet, a plated full English breakfast was offered in the Beefeater (still unlimited) instead of the hot buffet, but the cold items and hot drinks were still in the usual buffet format. This was nicely cooked, fresh and hot. As was the case during my last visit, the staff were very cheerful, attentive and friendly.

I didn't have an evening meal here as the menu is mostly chargrilled food which I'm not fond of. However, the main road has quite a few restaurant. In the end, I opted for a Chinese takeaway from Jade Garden (on the opposite side of the tube line) which was very nice. There is also a Sainsbury's supermarket opposite and quite a few well stocked convenience stores, which I found useful.

The standard of cleanliness and comfort was consistent with the usual high Premier Inn standards I have come to expect.

I am staying here again in June whilst on a short theatre break.

Room Tip: Stayed in room 30 - in the annex overlooking quiet residential side road - noise from train line com...

Stayed for 3 nights for a visit to London for my wife's birthday. Hotel is located a couple of minutes walk from Kenton station on the Bakerloo line which is very convenient and an off-peak day travel card is £8 for zones 1-4 which covers all the London locations you would wish to visit. The car park was safe and secure and costs £10 per day but FREE if you're a premier inn guest. The reception staff were polite and friendly and check in was extremely quick as I did the online check in prior to our arrival. Our room was in the annex building and on the first floor. The building was secure, quiet and always clean. Our room was spotless and had everything you come to expect of a premier inn and we didn't encounter any noise or nuisance and found everything as it should be and excellent value for £29 a night for each of the three nights (£87 in total). Fantastic for London! There are railway lines right next to the hotel but with secondary glazing in the rooms we found the noise from the trains not an issue at all! We didn't book any meals so didn't try the Beefeater pub attached to the hotel so can't comment on that. All in all a great hotel stay for peanuts :-)

Room Tip: Room 117 is on the first floor so better for security than a ground floor room and not too near the...

My first stay at Premier Inn Harrow I had previously stayed in Premier Inn central Watford and found it very pleasant and given it a four star rating , now i can not say the same for Harrow as i found room size smaller older decor in fact definitely in need of redecoration smells as well did not enjoy my stay so only one star rating .

The first time we stayed we stayed in the berooms accross the car park i jut dident like this as you got soaked going accross for breakfast etc,
rooms very basic but to be fair beds comfortable if you like a hard mattress.
i never saw a bathroom so small if someone opened the loo door they would knock you out.
it annoyed me to pay so much for such a basic hotel but we were stuck so had too.
we paid 97.50 for the first night we stayed.
another night it was even more expensive.

the food in the beef eater bar was good.and the breakfast was only ok a bit cold to be honest.
the rooms accross the car park you can hear the trains passing.
but the bedrooms in main hotel the whole room shook as they passed.
just felt expensive for what you got.
it could do with a refurb carpet a bit sad looking.

Stayed at premier London harrow over new year for 2 nights. Parking was free and we were accross the road from the London overground Kenton station, the bakerloo line. Took about 25 mins to get into the centre of London and the zone 4 ticket was £8 per adult with kids under 11 travelling free. trains ran frequently. Great staff at the hotel and our room was clean with comfy beds and pillows.our room was in the 'quiet section' and we had 2 very quiet nights' sleep. Recommend this hotel for families wanting to explore London without spending a fortune.

Yet another enjoyable stay at the Premier Inn at Harrow. The staff were friendly as usual. It was a pleasure to be in the rear of the main building as the rooms are much quieter and less prone to noise from the tube.
