“The BEST CAMP SITE EVER!!!”
Reviewed 7 March 2013

OMG!!!! What is there not to like about Sumners? We live just around the corner and go here regularly to eat, the food is super and service always with a smile. The views whilst you eat are stunning and they have special nites and events laid on all the time. The bar staff are great with good wine and beer that doesn't cost the earth - go on you know you want to, give it a go, your going to love it!!!!! Xxx

“Great and helpful !!!!!!!!!!”
Reviewed 24 February 2013

There are very friendly and helpful staff. Great grounds and a luxury campsite (personally my favourite). Great facilities and on the doorstep to woods. Excellent for walking and very near to a fab pub and village shop. My ten year old brother and I (i am 9 but at the time 8) loved it as we fished, walked and played footy. It is a friendly and safe environment. Has great food and shower facilities they are extremely clean. I highly recommend summers pond!!!!!

“A HIDDEN GEM!”
Reviewed 3 February 2013

My wife and I popped in one Sunday afternoon after a drive in the car. We felt like a cup of tea and a cake. The weather had been dull and cold.

What a pleasant surprise when we entered! Cosy and welcoming, very nicely decorated, it looked like a large hut that had grown! We found out later that that was exactly what had happened. It now seats up to about 50 in various small rooms all nicely decorated.

There's a good range of hot and cold food and snacks and drinks - from Sunday lunch to an afternoon cup of tea and a bun all at very reasonable prices. Service was very good. Fully recommended.

Don't be put off by the access to it which is through a working farmyard. We did wonder where exactly we were going, but if you persevere for a couple minutes, you will not be disappointed!

“Lovely setting”
Reviewed 17 January 2013

The Camp site is beautiful. No litter, helpful & friendly staff, great facilities, clean washrooms and the campers are very civilised! It's a nice friendly, happy place that would be great to bring your family. The pitches are arranged around a big lake with people fishing on the shore. The Cafe by the lake sells most of the provisions you need for camping (though some of their prices are a little higher than I'd like - supply & demand?) and the selection / quality of food is good. Particularly nice Coffee & Cakes!
