Dark Star simply do not know how to make a bad beer. Every one of their brews is disctinctive and of superb quality. Not, of course, a beer for those palate-challenged drinkers who believe that Fosters or Carling are fine examples of the brewers' art - but an irresistible brew for those who appreciate fine beer.
In fact, the brewery (and the picture here is not it) is not really a tourist attraction - it's a brewery. Those who are interested more in drinking beer than wathcing it being made (a rather boring and drawn-out process) would probably enjoy more the usual aftermath of Dark Star brewery tours - the vist to the brewery tap (The Partridge just a few hundred yards away) where good home-,made, locally-sourced food - and more Dark Star beer - can be enjoyed.
The brewery itself is not really geared up for food, although take-away beer can be bought.
