Top notch in every aspect. Well presented room. Very clean. Very quiet. Good level of service TV etc. Superb choice at breakfast and good quality. Only challenge was working out that we needed to use the room access card to turn on the electricity for the lighting!

We at Premier Inn offer clean, comfortable rooms so I am pleased that this is what you experienced. Apologises for you being unaware of how to work the lighting in the room. I will ensure moving forward that all team members make guests aware upon check in. Thank you & we hope to welcome you back in the near future.

We checked in and went to our room to find an overpowering smell of damp, but fortunately the young lady on the desk was able to juggle the bookings and get us into a less rancid room. A quick shower showed the fan not working, meaning the only place for the steam to go was into the new room, not damp yet but give it time...
During the night I felt a slow but inexorable pull towards the edge of the bed, resulting in a 2am bit of engineering, stuffing the spare pillows under the mattress. Investigation the following day showed a foot missing off the bed !
The hotel is convenient and central to Horsham, and the staff couldn't be bettered, but the building felt like it was slowly decaying.
Beware the Beefeater next door, the continental breakfast is a good deal, but anything cooked is grim.

Room Tip: Go for a floor as high as you can, the floors are made of cardboard and so anybody walking above sou...

Husband and I recently stayed here for a long birthday weekend visiting family. Standards have definitely improved at this PI since my last visit in 2013. All hotel staff without exception were efficient, friendly and helpful. Room clean and comfortable and perfectly adequate for our stay. My husband found the bed a bit too hard but the staff kindly arranged for an extra duvet to be put on top of the mattress to make it more comfortable. We had an evening meal at the neighbouring Beefeater, a little wary of doing so knowing from experience that this establishment can be a bit 'hit and miss' but were very pleased indeed with the food, presentation and service. However, this PI's big downfall is the breakfast in the Beefeater and sadly this was also the case on a previous visit. It was not good at all (went two mornings) and it seems that perhaps a different chef cooks the breakfast. Uninterested waiting staff, rubbery eggs, overdone bacon, burnt black croissants and to top it all a hair on plate. It is probably worth not having breakfast there but instead going to one of many other eateries nearby - a shame, as breakfasts at other PI's have always been outstanding. Otherwise, a great stay and very conveniently located for Horsham town centre and the area.

Room Tip: Quietest rooms are on the top floor towards the back of the building and are normally available if r...

I am very pleased to hear that you found the hotel standards have improved since your previous visit & the staff helped to make your stay more comfortable by putting an extra duvet on the bed to make it softer for you. I will certainly pass your comments over to the Beefeater. We hope to welcome you back soon.

Brilliant location, a short walk through the park and you are in the centre of Horsham's shopping centre with plenty of restaurants etc. Free car parking. When we arrived we thought it would be noisy as directly opposite the station, but no problem at all. Friendly and helpful staff. They had scaffolding up by our window but didn't affect us. Will stay again when next in the area.

Recently stayed here as visiting the area and was extremely pleased. Clean, bright, lots of space and very good service from reception staff. Was very convenient for Horsham town centre and had ample parking. Just down the road is a very good pub and there was several choices of eateries within the town.

My partner and I stayed here one night as we were visiting family in Brighton and had an event to attend closer to Horsham on the Saturday night.

Now it was my chaps birthday the week before and this weekend was the final treat for him, when I booked this room I mentioned on the form that it was his 60th. Imagine my surprise when I got a phone call from Holly the day before our arrival asking if it was ok to put some balloons in the room which of course it was.

When we arrived the receptionist was lovely, sorry I didn't get her name and she directed us to our room, on entering there was 5 helium balloons, tied down to a bottle of wine, and a box of chocolates, and a happy birthday banner across the bottom of the bed. This was such a lovely gesture, really not expected from what I had previously considered a budget chain.

The room itself was plenty big enough, the bathroom was very clean, soap and shower gel included, the towels were plenty big enough, the only thing I would have changed would have been to add a flannel, even if there was a disposable type thing as I imagine these are nicked a lot. The bed was comfy, plenty of tea and coffee stuff which we like, and the tv was massive and had plenty of channels.

We would definitely stay here again, indeed any premier inn has now made it to our regular choices of stopover hotels.

Regarding the breakfast, pay the 8.95 for the big one, next door in the beefeater, it is so plentiful, the bacon was crispy (Which I love), I ate far too much but it was worth the discomfort, we didn't eat again till about 4 that day.

Deffo recommend this place, and the two staff I had dealings with were very nice. Thanks girls.

Car parking was plentiful and free.

Room Tip: we had room 7, which was sort of snuggled into a corner, despite it being next to a fire door in the...
