I couldn't count how many times we have stayed in this lovely Premier Inn now. When ever we fly out of Manchester Airport we always stay here, both on the way out and way back. The staff are truly wonderful - the welcome is always first class and check in takes seconds. The rooms are simplistic, but spotlessly clean and the beds huge and so comfortable.

The reception ladies and men are so friendly and go out of their way to help, no matter what time of day or night you arrive.

In the past they have let us borrow umbrellas, got us plates and cutlery if we have ordered a take away meal and in May of this year we had travelled back from Mexico with our family following our daughter's wedding and unfortunately our grandson was sick all over himself and my son-in-law and the girl on reception very kindly offered to wash and dry their clothes, which was above and beyond the call of duty, but all the same very welcome.

My husband and I have just stayed again prior to travelling to Turkey and again on the way back; once again everything perfect.

Unfortunately we decided to eat in the carvery at the adjoining pub, as when we ate there in May it was lovely, however, this time it was rather disappointing and cold. The bar staff, two young men, were surly and ignorant and really let the place down (Saturday 13th October) - no please or thank you. This I might add is not the fault of the Premier Inn at all ( I will submit a separate review on the pub). We shall just get a takeaway on future stays.

Thank you once again Premier Inn Wilmslow, we hope to be back soon.

Room Tip: All rooms are of an equally high standard, lovely crisp white cotton sheets and towels

We stayed two nights at this Premier Inn and were fortunate to get the £29 per night deal. This is the third time we have stayed here and have always been satisfied with the service and friendliness of the staff. Rooms are clean and spacious with complimentary tea making facilities.

This is an excellent location for Manchester Airport, Manchester city centre via train from Wilmslow and also a good base for exploring beautiful Cheshire.

Stayed with a friend as going to a wedding in a nearby hotel. Good parking, clean and comfortable room priced at £50 per night booked only a few days before for a twin room, and lovely lady on reception, couldn't fault it, and would stay again

Comparing our one night at this Premier Inn with the previous night at an Ibis hotel, the difference was chalk and cheese. The Ibis had been cramped, hot, noisy and the shower did not work properly, fixed firmly on boiling hot! By contrast the Premier Inn room was spacious, ambient temperature at all times, quiet and all fixtures worked. The room was clean and comfortable, providing everything one needed for an overnight stay while travelling. All at a budget price. I give full marks to Premier Inn.

Room Tip: The hotel is situated far back from the road, so no problems with traffic noise, irrespective of roo...

With my first choice venue full I selected Wilmslow as it was free parking, Wi-Fi access and near to my destination visit. A welcome smile and speedy service upon arrival was a good start. WIth a local pub attached (Boddington Arms) it allowed me to have a reasonably priced meal in a friendly environment. For business reasons I would return as it ticks all the boxes I need to do my job and get a good nights sleep.

Room Tip: If you are snesitive to light traffic and sleep with the window open, ask for rooms facnig away from...

£29 ( 36 Euro, $45 ) for a room, so what would anyone expect?
There are some niggles but for that price no-one expects even 3-star service, so let me get them out of the way first because this hotel deserves to be left on a high, not a low.
Breakfast is a bit expensive - about double what you'd pay in cafe - but Premier Inn usually does have as much as you can eat and it's well cooked. However, this one had fried eggs on request and we also had to order toast (apparently the toaster had blown up). If we were the only people in the restaurant fine but we weren't - and there was only one member of staff (who was outstandingly helpful) seeing to all customers. As a result we ended up with a disjointed breakfast because we had to have to have our fried eggs served during it, and the toast came a little later. Of course, serving this way cuts down on wastage, so whether that's what this Premier Inn was doing I don't know. There were a couple of other things with the restaurant when we had a carvery when we arrived, and the bar ( it's in the same pub next to the actual hotel ) is a bit expensive, even for Wilmslow.
HOWEVER, without these minor frustrations this hotel is outstanding value for money.
It's ideally placed for the airport ( 15 mins and at the time of writing a £12 taxi ride to it ) and is in the middle of some lovely countryside, so it is also a good place if you're looking for rest and relaxation. It's an easy 15 minute walk into the town centre, through leafy residential areas or along the river. The room was comfortable and all that anyone on a short stay would want.
The service was great. We arrived at midday, intending to have lunch before checking in at 14:00 but I asked if there was any possibility of checking in, or leaving our luggage and the very friendly staff on Reception assigned us a room that had already been prepared, though not assigned to us. That enabled us to enjoy all afternoon walking, rather than just the evening. A nice touch.
Every time we passed through reception we were asked if everything was OK or if we'd enjoyed ourselves out. Really nice touches.
I think the best compliment we can give this hotel is that for certain reasons we had no option but to fly from Manchester, despite 4 or more major airports being closer. However, our experience with the Premier Inn, Wilmslow, its location and friendly personnel, has meant that we'll consider this in any future travel plans.
Recommended at double the price - but then you'd have a valid reason to complain !

Great place to stay staff always welcoming and rooms comfortable.

The pub next door do a reasonable carvery. They seem though quite expensive for drinks. Wine especially per glass seems to be above the average price

Also they need to check their dishwasher I think. Noticed the breakfast crockery /cutlery seems to be not fully clean Residue on the items . Maybe the filter or drainage system wants looking at. Just a little point but a bit off putting .
