We stayed at Finney Green Cottage for 10 days in October 2009. My daughter was getting married and we needed to be relatively close to the different venues and this location was just perfect. The cottage is run by Annette and Jeremy, they are friendly, witty, caring and nothing was too much trouble for them. The property is an old tudor-style cottage, quaint and cozy and full of character. Our room was huge with a massive bed, another single bed, comfortable seating area in front of a fireplace, ensuite with fabulous tub, and a desk area with loads of space for a laptop with a mirror for make-up, hair drying etc. Tea and coffee making facilities were refreshed daily, even biscuits in case we were hungry. Masses of storage space, a TV and what more could we ask for?
Breakfast was laid out in the dining room daily and basically you could have whatever your heart desired! As I said, nothing was too much trouble for our hosts.
In the main house there are three bedrooms upstairs, one downstairs (ours) and then there was an annex in addition, which I never actually saw. All rooms were beautifully decorated, the place was spotless. The cottage is set on large grounds and very well kept. There is a large parking area and just a few minutes walk to a little shopping centre.
It was my first real introduction to Bed and Breakfast and I am grateful to Annette and Jeremy as they looked after us so well. They were professional, friendly and most helpful.
