We regularly eat at the moby dick on a sunday I must say we have never had a bad meal in there, staff know us well and are always very helpful, we have a laugh with them, the food is lovely. We have never had to wait long for a table, they ask us how long we will be.
they have just had a refurbishment and it looks lovely. Prices very reasonable.
we shall continue to dine there.

Room Tip: Great food, lovely place

We have just spent 3 nights at Romford West Premier Inn, it was our second visit to this hotel and we would definitely tecommend it. The rooms are a good size and spotlessly clean, nice bathrooms with good showers and baths. Food next door at the Moby Dick is good and reasonably priced but most of all the staff at the hotel gave an excellent service and made us feel so welcome.

Attending a surprise birthday party in the vicinity, this hotel ticked the right boxes, namely cost and location. Though a little more than I wanted to pay, the accommodation was well worth the money. A nice fresh, clean, hotel, excellent clean and comfortable room and happy/friendly staff. In short a very enjoyable experience that I would not think twice about repeating. We also took advantage of the breakfast buffet at The Moby Dick next door which we found to be good value for money.

was visiting family in Dagenahm & Just stayed in the premier inn last night in a family room with my husband & our son, (room number 18.)... The room was gorgeous, imaculately clean, the most comftable bed & pillows, flat screen tv, all tea & cofee making faciliy in the room.. but was very hot & the window seemed to b broken & wouldnt open, it could have just been locked though not too sure, we should of asked but didnt want to make a fuss, so just put the fan on lol..... No complaints with premier in what so ever...

The Moby Dick on the other hand well......... we had a carvery on the sunday night, was very plentyfull but was all bland & tasteless, wasnt very nice at all..... Then breakfast in the morning was 1000 times worse :( No fried eggs, burnt hash brown mushed up beans & mushrooms that looked like has been there for a week, costa coffee is advertised, but no costa coffee, just instant cofee you pour yourself out of a jug..... porriage is also advertised, no porriage on offer either :(

On our way out of premier inn when going back to collect our luggage we was asked by the very polite receptionist if we had a nice stay.... we told her about the food next door & she said alot of people complain about the food & offered us our breakfast money back that we had pre paid for when booking online, which we accepted... £18 for 2 of those brakfasts was diabolical, would rather of paid 4 quid in a cafe, or jus stopped off at mc donalds up the road for my breakfast... Such a shame as i think Moby Dick is letting premier inn down :(

Will try the one at chequers next time, only beacuase of bad food & rude staff from moby dick !!

Lots of road noise from A12, did not get to sleep until 0200 and was woken up at 0600 by the road noise. Not a place for light sleepers. Staff not to interested in deal with this issue as all rooms are on the main road. So much for the good night guarantee

We stayed here in a family room while visiting relatives nearby. It's a typically comfortable and clean Premier Inn, much like any other Premier Inn. Size-wise, it seems one of the smaller Premier Inns and probably dates back a few years as evidenced by the door keys rather than key cards. However, the staff are pleasant, the rooms decent sized and modern as well as clean and tidy. The area itself is unremarkable - not particularly close to Romford nor a straight forward journey if visiting central London. However, there are always plenty of buses around and Chadwell Heath is a 10 minute walk away. Overall, there's no reason I would not book this hotel again.

We chose this hotel because of its location (family wedding in the vicinity) and brand reputation - we have stayed in Premier Inns before and always found them to be good, solid value. There was a problem in that our room reeked of cigarette smoke and, the hotel being full, we could not be moved. However we were offered a refund for that night and were moved to a sweet smelling room the following day. As usual with Premier Inns, the rooms are fairly basic but the essentials are there, not least a comfortable bed and a good sized, spotlessly clean bathroom. We booked sufficiently in advance of our stay so we got a good rate - excellent value.
I'm a little surprised at the negative comments concerning the breakfast because we thought it was tremendously good value for money.
This hotel is, I think, really in Chadwell Heath within a mile or so of the railway station that has very good links to central London so it would be a good choice for visitors to the capital looking to save a pound or two without too much of a journey into town.

Room Tip: This hotel has no lifts - if you have mobility problems be sure to request a ground floor room when...
