We have visited Liverpool to see relatives on many occasions but had never been to Norton Priory before. .we were not disappointed. Decided to to have the daily special which turned out to be Scouse. Heard about it before but never had it. It was superb, just melted in the mouth. The friendly and polite staff made us feel very welcome. The place was spotless and we had a very enjoyable meal in wonderful surroundings. Also visited the micro brewer, the Ice cream parlour and the Museum and gardens. Had a truly memorable day. The whole place is a credit to the people who work there. Will certainly go again on our next trip up north.
P.S. The Beer weren't bad either.

Norton Priory is only on my doorstep and I think its often overlooked as an attraction. You get a sense of serenity here, good to be able to see so much of our past. Great day out for kids as a history lesson. Great for adults also with their walled gardens and great walks around the priory. The cafe is lovely, great home made food and the staff are sweet, Very good value and worth a visit after a trip around the priory.
