When this place was a Table Table it was a great place for us (a large extended family) to meet and enjoy reasonably priced food, have a few drinks and a good old catch up.

Now it's a Beefeater they won't take bookings for over 20 people after 3pm. I have twice tried to get in here, only to be told that they are just too busy. Not with bookings, it's just that they are just too busy. They must be doing well if they can afford to turn away a large group mid week.

Very disappointed!

Won't be going here as a couple or part of a group. The Micklehead Green it is for me!

Also, the manager who I spoke to on the phone to ask about their booking policy was quite rude and sharp with me. She must have been just too busy for customer service!

We came here for a late afternoon meal. It was clean and our service was good. The food was decent and not terribly expensive. The flatbread starter was very good, the quiche was definitely microwaved, but the burgers were pretty good. We tried to eat breakfast there the next day and couldn't get seated so we left.

Waiteress was obviously not listening to what we ordered as one of our meals was wrong and forgot other items we ordered . Seeing as it is a Beefeater the cook doesn't seem to now the difference between a frying steak and a rib eye.

Poor,won't be going again.

We had been for a few drinks on the Sunday night, First impressions with the new look restaurant was good, Staff very friendly..... MONDAY night we would give it a try with high hopes, we did not book, it's a Monday night the car park was not full. We would after wait 45 minutes for a table. Looking around 14 empty tables, the place was less than half full . So we went off to the Riverside Restaurant Acton Bridge for our meal it was very good to. Beefeater this is not good 45 minutes for a tables... very disappointing
