Chartwell House is wonderful, the grounds are splendid, it was great to see how the great man relaxed, it also allowed you to experience he paintings that Churchill produced and to see his studio and the depth of some of his paintings. Although there is a Ginger Cat on the premises he was not to be found. Part of the House has been converted to a museum with a display of his various uniforms and robes, and a gifts received throughout Churchill's life.
Oh yes the black swans do attack, as witnessed.
