Four of us went to Sunday lunch at the plough. The greeting and service in this pub is friendly, and efficient. The roast pork with plenty of decent crackling and the beef cooked medium rare to my liking (but you can ask for your preference.) starter and sweets plenty of choice and also very acceptable. With a bottle of wine and a few drinks around £ 20.00 per head very good.
We will certainly go back.

My son took me out for Mothers Day lunch at the Plough Horsell. We went for the 2 courses at £14.95 and chose for the Lamb Steak and the Salmon and Prawn Skillet followed by Hot Choc Fudge Cake and Cheese Board. The food and service was excellent and the pub buzzing with atmosphere and live music by Steve Brookes. Lovely gift of fresh daffodils given to every mum at the end of the meal.

We hadn't been in the pub for a few years after a few bad dinners, but had heard it was in new hands so thought we would go back and try it out.
We both had bubble and squeak with roast beef in it, the beef was a bit sparse but the squeak was tasty, the staff were freindly and efficient.
the decor could do with a lick of paint , but overall it was an enjoyable lunch and we will be going back

What can I say. Top choice in ales, wide selection of Whisky. Food was tasty and plentiful! Atmosphere was lovely and the staff very friendly!

The highlight of the evening was the lovely barmaid, Emma or Emily! She was kind, caring, sympathetic to our special needs and if she is single, a catch for any man!
