The "Baldi" is my local, although I wouldn't consider myself a regular (once or twice a month?) On every occasion I have found it very friendly with a nice relaxed atmosphere; certainly the best in Knaphill. I have taken my kids (5 and 3) for Sunday lunch or met friends for a pint. The beer is excellent with a variety of real ales on tap. Whenever I have eaten here it has been very good, with proper home cooking rather than processed rubbish.

On entering this establishment whilst killing some time waiting to collect someone from a nearby appointment what from the outside was clearly a jovial atmosphere went instantly quiet on opening the door and not being recognised as 'local'.

The barman was friendly enough - the local 'characters' clearly do not like 'interlopers' in 'their' pub though - won't be going back which is a shame as it was a good pint otherwise.

We waited 30 minutes for our meal and it arrived lukewarm. It was reheated and the Turkey was tough and the rest of the meal was tasteless.. I left most of the meal and brought it home for the foxes. Worst meal ever and a waste of money. Will not be eating in there again and i live in Knaphill.

A short pub crawl has found that The Garibaldi pub is the best in Knaphill village! We had a very warm welcome from the Landlady, had a good meal (if you go, try the steak pie) and enjoyed the beer:)

Will definitely be going back.
