The staff in this hotel are superb ie they treat customers as real people and are genuinely interested in your comfort and engage in conversation about the reason for your visit. Definitely recommend because the rooms, restaurant and general ambience is great. Car park is literally across the road and the town centre within a 1 minute walk

This is a fairly new hotel (opened about 8 months ago, I was told), and that is obvious. It is typical of the Premier Inn city centre hotels, but with Reception on the 2nd floor (reached by a lift) and check-in by a machine - although a helpful receptionist did this without needing to use that. It is opposite to the shopping centre.

it is situated within a few minutes walk from the railway station, which has frequent trains to London Waterloo (some stopping at Clapham Junction) and the south west (Exeter, Portsmouth, Basingstoke, Weymouth, etc.). The hotel website does clearly state that there is no car park, only a near-by one which has to be paid for, so that should not be surprise for anyone on arrival. (Their advice is to contact them for details.)

My room was on the 7th floor, towards the end of the corridor, so quiet, even on a Friday evening. It was standard Premier Inn, so, if you have stayed in one before, you know what to expect. As usual, clean and bright. Air conditioned (the windows are locked shut.) Large screen Freeview TV and radio. I did find the bed rather hard - but when I switched on my laptop the following morning to take advantage of the free wifi, I did find an email rom Premier Inn saying they were beginning an exercise to replace beds in all hotels with a more comfortable type. That sounds a good move.

There is an in-house Thyme Restaurant, which will have it's own listing and reviews.

if I am in this area in the future, I will stay here again.

Room Tip: This hotel has no car park - see their website and phone them for advice.

Very close to London city! Was only a 25 min train ride away. Staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms as always were clean and comfortable. Only downfall which didn't matter to us much was the tv was not working. All the channels didn't have signal

Stayed here as a base to visit Chessington and Legoland with kids for a long weekend. Head office made an error and booked us into a triple room even though the booking was for 4 people. Luckily there was a spare family room available and the helpful receptionist gave us keys for a new room. Check in is via a machine which is a bit weird and produces your room keys. I found this unnecessary and I'm sure is to try and reduce staffing costs but as we encountered a problem a checkin this shows this doesn't work. If they want to save checking in time, why not create a system whereby the booking includes a scanned code that you can print off or save to a smartphone which enables you to hold up to a scanner at the door to enable entry? Ate in the restaurant on one night and the food was ok but took over an hour to arrive which us too long with small kids. Seems as though they don't have enough chefs to cope with a half full restaurant. There is a Zizzi and pizza express 3 minutes walk away so no problems finding alternative places to eat. Staff very friendly and everything reliably good with the hotel as is normal for this chain.

Brilliant hotel. All the staff are really friendly and welcoming. Would recommend this hotel to people. Only downside is the car park. There ain't one onsite but there is a public multi-story one across the road.

Easy check in, staff very friendly. We got two rooms which were opposite each other, & rooms very very clean with tv, tea facilities, cupboard, etc etc.
Whenever I book hotels, I always feel worried about cleanliness but I would really recommend this hotel.
No Car parking on site, but there is an NCP across the road.
Breakfast absolutely fab, we had paid for buffet breakfast with our reservation.
After breakfast we headed off to chessington world of adventures.
Honestly I can't think of anything bad to say. I would really recommend if you need to stay in outskirts London area.
Thank you soo much a pleasant stay.
