“Unexpected gem”

Had a great time here with the kids. A charming and unusual activity with a nostalgic feel. It's outdoors so wrap up warm if it's cold.

“This is really a hidden gem for a summer Sunday afternoon”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 February 2014

I cannot believe how this attraction (and it IS an attraction has generated so few reviews to date). If you guys live or pass anywhere near this on a summer sunday then it is an essential visit if you have youngsters. It has a cafe, toilets and a shop so there right away are 3 ticks. There are two runs on the little trains, although the routes may change when you visit due to improvements. The larger route is a whole mile of riding on the train. The staff are all volunteers and have more enthusiasm than could be thought humanly possible. GO VISIT.

“Enthusiastic volunteers”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 December 2013

The kids love the ride on the train, and despite poor weather the volunteer drivers and conductors were full of cheer.
New cuddly toys seem to appear each time we go, but some of the older characters could do with a clean up. Overall, a cheap family afternoon out

“Great for toddlers and adults a like”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 November 2013 via mobile

Mizens is a fabulous place to visit for families with young children. It's very well run with a cute railway station. It feels like a real railway with ticket offices and guards to welcome you on the trains. The rides are inexpensive and we'll worth the money. The people running mizens are clearly enthusiastic about their hobby and make mizens the treasure of Woking that it is.
