Stayed here for 3 nights, had outside room which was great, although we had to move to another after 1st night as prob with toilet, overall the staff were efficient and friendly, good location for visiting Brooklands and Painhill park. Would stay there again.

Room Tip: Ground floor room no 113 great.

We've stayed at the Innkeeper's Lodge in Woking many times. It's a reasonable price in a friendly environment. The rooms are spacious and clean. Food is very good. It's well located. The bar is comfortable. Good parking.

The staff are very good but sometimes seem split too many ways. The bar closes too early.

Not knocking the Woking branch specifically but I did once swear to never visit an Innkeeper's Lodge after they refused my booking for two rooms for one night as it was high season and I wasn't booking enough nights!

There was so much wrong with this hotel, it felt substandard in so many ways. The bed was very uncomfortable, you can feel the springs and it sags. There is no way to control the heating, which makes the room very stuffy. The water pump in the room is so noisy it bangs and knocks when the water is running, and makes a high pitched scream for a while after the water is shut off. The staff were unfriendly on the whole - the breakfast very poor. I asked for machine coffee the first morning and they told me it wasn't available. The next morning I asked a different staff member why the machine was there if we couldn't have a coffee from it and she said immediately offered to make me one and said it was just that her colleague probably couldn't be bothered!

Room Tip: all my complaints are of an 'outside room' so possibly the inside ones are better.

I have never stayed at an Innkeepers Lodge ever and so was an exciting time to see what i would be faced with.
Upon arrival I entered the small entrance to the establishment..initial thoughts was the exterior looked shabby and more like and old B&B and very tight car parking spaces by the main entrance.
The main entrance door was very tight to get lugguage through and no clear signs to direct to the check-in point which was the main bar which i was not kean on.

The staff member was very polite and advised of check-in and out details and facilities available which was a plus.

Finding the room was not easy as with the layout it was like going through a maze of corridors all with very old floor boards and very worn and creeky.

The room was very warm and a good welcome with plenty of refreshments (tea&coffee)
a decent size bed which was excellent, clean bedding, extra pillows and blanket and a fan.
I had a decent size TV in the room which was good.
Let down was the window restrictors and not even a clear view out of the window.
The old carpets was a little unrelaxing also along side the old furnishings.

The bathroom was small with shower only,no bath.
Clean and white all round. The let down was sink kept flooding as must have had a blockage and the shower curtain bar is not fixed as one of those with a sucktion cap on one end which I only found out when it got a little steamy and dropped on my head.

Cleaning staff are good and provide clean towels and refreshments daily.

Overall i was happy paying the discount rates that i did as do not think it was worth full price as was pre-warned as above a pub can be noisey till a fixed time and ,the above few minors which did not complete my experience as I thought.

Oh yes one similarity to Travel Inn I noticed is free bathroom accessories available if you forget yours and free WIFI also available.

Room Tip: Higher floor would be better towards the back
