We just had 3 nights here, it's clearly had a lot of money spent on it, all rooms and public areas are freshly decorated and furnished, it looks very good in all areas. The front rooms do suffer from traffic noise, but they've double glazed to help and I guess it's something you have to expect if you stay on a main street in a town, but I always sleep like a log so no problem really. The staff are all immaculately uniformed and their helpful manner and smiling faces shows they clearly all enjoy their jobs. The only issue we had was with breakfast on two of the three mornings, the third one was great and the other two were removed from the bill, sorted. Evening meal in the restaurant is from around £17 for a main, otherwise it's a bar meal. It's in a good position for touring the SW coast of Wales, and probably the best one around for a good few miles.
