I stayed at the Sleepy Noggin with my mother and enjoyed the hospitality and the food. This is an updated b and b which is clean and a great place to make a home base while exploring the wonderful views in Twillingate.

We spent 2 nights on the beginning of our trip and then returned for one more night at the end on our way back to St John's. Ruth and Eric were great and as soon as we got there they told us places we might want to see and even found us place that could take us out to check lobster traps and see icebergs. Each morning we were treated to fresh fruits and several other choices of meal options but you always wanted toast so you could try Ruth's homemade jams from local berries. On one of our mornings Eric brought out his accordian and treated us to a song during breakfast. The rooms were spacious and extremely neat , clean and very nicely decorated. If I was to get back to Twillingate I would try to stay there for sure.

We spent 4 nights with Ruth and Eric and enjoyed every day with them. Their home is neat, clean and the rooms are the same. Breakfasts are a treat with home made bredsm jams and oatmeal. You are made to feel like part of the family. If you are visiting Twillingate, this is a great place to stay.

We spent three nights at the Sleepy Noggin in early June. What a great spot to get a feel for the Twillingate area - we had icebergs in the bay right in front of the B&B and even witnessed one breaking up and leaving a trail of "Bergie Bits". Eric and Ruth were so great and even helped me with melting a Bergie Bit so we could fill our water bottles the next day to take hiking. The B&B was quiet and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed spending time in their living room and enjoying Keurig coffee on the front porch in the mornings. The breakfasts were delicious especially all the home made jellies and baking. Eric and Ruth are true ambassadors for the area with lots of ideas for hiking, places to eat and where to go to get great views of icebergs. If you're heading to Twillingate, head on over to the "Sleepy Noggin" for sure.

Spent a very comfortable night at the Sleepy Noggin whilst visiting Twillingate. The room was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was excellent. Ruth was very helpful when we discovered that the mobile reception from our provider did not happen away from St John's.

Eric and Ruth are wonderful hosts, and made us feel right at home. As fourth generation residents of the area, they provide good information on what to see and do. Their ensuite rooms are spotless and well decorated, with very comfortable beds. The yummy breakfast includes a hot entree, yogurt, fruit, toast, and homemade jams, coffee, tea and juice. If you are lucky, you just might hear Eric play some traditional Newfoundland music on his accordion! We would stay there again.

This is an absolutely great place. The hosts are fabulous, the beds and rooms super and there is nothing but good that we can say about this very fine B & B. We were given all the information we needed and Eric and Ruth helped us with anything we needed.
