“Worth the 5 min walk past Foxys”
Reviewed 6 June 2014 via mobile

Corsairs food was amazing! I went with a party of six and tried everything. We have been cruising around BVIs for the past week, taste testing all the conch fritters. These were the BEST! Perfect texture, conch to batter ratio, excellent temperature and the goat cheese dipping sauce was both unique and delicious. The salads were fresh and delicious. I had Lobster Mac and Cheese-YUM! They did not skimp on the lobster portion. Also tried the lobster pizza. And they had 4-8lb whole lobsters! On top of it all the service was excellent. Very enjoyable dinner experience. And it's close enough to Great Harbor's main attraction Foxys, that dancing is just a 5 minute walk away.

“A hidden treasure of the BVI. Exquisite food and good company.”
Reviewed 4 June 2014

My husband and I recently married on St. John USVI and spent our honeymoon on JVD. We stayed at one if the more popular places on the island not too far from Corsairs. When it came time for the hotel guests to sign up for dinner some if the more "regular" folks advised us that If you wanted a good meal, Corsairs was the place to go. We took them up on the offer and headed on the short cab ride to Great Harbour. If you are looking to get dressed up an head to a fancy dinner this is not the place for you. Its fancy is spoken for through its food. The atmosphere is positively distracting with its signature covered walls, pirate flags, and stories of memories made both past and present. We had a beautiful, quaint table for two overlooking the Harbour at sunset. Reservations were highly recommended to us however the staff were as accommodating as they could be for those unaware. The dinner menu is unlike any other on the island with an amazing selection of everything from lobster to steak and everything in between. My husband went for the special, shrimp and bacon grits. He still has not stopped talking about it! I went with the Ciopinno (I think it's how it's spelled) which I ate every last drop scooping up the succulant broth with my garlic toast leaving empty plates and more than satisfied bellies. If you aren't looking for a sit down meal grab a stool at the bar where you will likely meet the owner, Vinny. He may not be your average outgoing bartender, but that's what we loved about him! He shared interesting stories, outstanding drinks, and more than anything a passion for his job and the people supporting him. His chef prepare meals better than any restaurant we had experienced on St. John or any other island and continue to highly recommend this stop if you're ever on JVD. While there are plenty I places with hype and popularity, this hidden treasure will not disappoint. Cheers!

“Best Dinner on our vacation”
Reviewed 3 June 2014

The meal was the BEST we had on our entire 14 day vacation to the B.V.I. We went with another couple and all had a different entree. Every one raved about their dish. Presentation was as excellent as the taste. Hope to get the opportunity to dine there again in my lifetime ! Thanks Chef and Thanks Vinny.!!!

“Still outstanding!”
Reviewed 31 May 2014

We anxiously waited 2 years to return to the BVIs and Corsairs. We were not disappointed - the Seafood Pizza is second to none and the Seared Scallops were perfection on a plate. We were treated like old friends and were made to feel right at home. Already looking forward to our next trip!
