“My Mandatory Stop in Aguadilla”
Reviewed 31 July 2014 via mobile

Old World bakery. Fresh artisan breads (bromide-free!), luscious pastries, delicious sandwiches, scrumptious quiches. Everything organic. Carry out or eat in; additional tables are outside.

I have a "must stop" favorite eatery in almost every town in Puerto Rico; and in Aguadilla, it is Levain Bakery.

“Bread lover's heaven”
Reviewed 25 July 2014 via mobile

My family and I went to have breakfast there today. I had the spinach & tomato quiche. It was divine. Each of us got different kinds of quiche and they were all good. We also tried the sweet foccacia & the sticky pecan bread. The problem is there is barely any seating and they do not have a lot of variety early in the mornings. In addition, we were told that sandwiches are not available until after 10am. Nevertheless, I loved it and I plan to go back again.

Thank you Jeschelly G for your review and visit back in July 2014!

Yes, we do have a small store front and most of our products are designed to take them "To Go", nevertheless we are now providing additional outdoor sitting space for those who want to enjoy their meal at The Bakery. In regards to our variety, in the mornings we have an extent variety of "viennoiserie" our croissants, pain au chocolat, pain au raisins, ham & cheese croissants, quiches, bread, coffee, tea and juices which we like to call our breakfast offer (from Mondays to Saturdays) then around 10am our sandwiches menu is available throughout the day. The reason our sandwich menu starts at 10am is because this menu has been designed as a lunch/dinner option, also our sandwiches appeal more to the heavier side (lunch). Then in the afternoon we start offering al kinds of sweets... like fruit tarts, carrot cake, éclairs, paris brest, pecan tarts, napoleons, etc... more suited for the afternoon sweet cravings. This is basically our concept, not a common one in our island, but we hope everyone who visits will be able to enjoy.

Thank you, and we look forward to see you again!

“Fresh baked daily. Delicious. Artisanal.”
Reviewed 1 July 2014

Love, love, love the variety of breads they carry. Everything is delicious. Great for breakfast (try ham and cheese croissant or a quiche) or lunch (try gourmet grilled cheese or Boars Head deli sandwiches). Closed Saturdays to attend the Aguadilla Farmers Market. Ask them where else you can find their bread around town. Many restaurants and sandwiches carry it, too.
