Big clean room, with a great view to one of Culebra's bays... The facilities were nice and spacious... The pool area was very nice. The food was OK. The service was as expected. Culebra's beaches are facinating and magnificants with clear waters and white sands!!! If you like to dive or make some snorkeling Culebra Island in PR is the place to visit!!!

My husband and I stayed here last week. It was probably the best trip we've ever taken. The Front Desk Manager was incredibly helpful! He spent a lot of time talking to us about the best things to do on the Island and back in San Juan, how to get around and what to expect while there. He, the bartender and the security guard were all very friendly and made us feel at home. We had dinner at the Hotel one night and it was the best meal we had on our entire trip! The view of Ensenada Honda was amazing as were the pools. The entire place was very clean and well maintained. We never like to go to the same place twice but my husband and I are already talking about a possible return trip.

Rent a Golf Cart- Much better than a jeep on the narrow roads and you will need a vehicle to get around!

One more tip- if you're having trouble making a resevation (the reservation reps have trouble with English), call the Front Desk, Javier helped me get ours straight with an email.

We stayed there and first, it is advertised as a hotel with dock facility. We called and asked if it was an extra charge, they said no. It's free for guests based on availability. We arrived and there was no other boat in the dock, so we tied our boat to it. When checking-in, they told us that the dock was only for pick-ups or drop-offs of guests. So, we had to anchor the boat, but because their dingy was stolen from the facility, they offered us their kayaks to move from the boat to shore. It wasn't that uncomfortable, but sometimes kayaks weren't available so we had to swim in the water that's not so clean in order to get to the boat. During the reservation process, they send me the reservation of another person, but 3 days after I replied the email they sent the right reservation. The reservation said ocean view room and breakfast included, but when we arrived they told us that breakfast wasn't included. The first room they assigned us smelled a lot to humidity and even had moss inside the microwave. We asked to change rooms and they gently did, but the new room had a noisy air conditioner that leaked water, so we had a lot of water in the corridor to the bathroom constantly. The balcony doors doesn't lock. We didn't have a comforter or throw in the bed, so we called front desk and they told us they didn't have any at the moment, but they were supposed to be in the drawers of the room. We looked and didn't find any, instead we found other people's clothes!!! So we knew how deep they cleaned the room!! The day we arrived the septic tank overflew, so between the dock and pool we had to hold our breath and skip the dirty water. It wasn't just us, we heard other people complaining about their rooms: one their bathroom was filthy, another their air conditioner didn't work, and another the lights of the outside of the room didn't work, so they had to walk to the door and open the room in the dark. The service was OK, nearer worst than to best. The only good things about the "hotel" is the view and the size of the rooms. If you stay here I highly recommend to rent a car, because we waited more than 1 hour for the taxi to arrive. We have an offer to stay 2 nights free in a list of hotels to choose from, the Sea Breeze is one of them, but we decided not to spend it in this "hotel". We won't go back even if it's free!!! I recommend staying at another place, you will enjoy a lot more what Culebra and Puerto Rico has to offer!!

Our ordeal begun couple of days befoore our stay... When we received an e-mail with an itinerary of our "All inclusive" stay deal... An itinerary?? Ok.. We started reading... It started nice... Day#1 check-in, welcome cocktail, and at night buffet dinner and music with open bar (no premium liquors and no tips were included.... Ok, sounds ok.... Day#2 breakfast buffet from 8-11 am, then a beer and grill bar which included hamburgers, hot dog. Puertorican fritters, shishkebabs, beer, soft drinks and water. Pool Open bar from 1-4 (did not included hard liquors, premium drinks and tips....) all inclusive open bar that ONLY includes beer..... Ok.... Later Buffet dinner 7-9:30pm and music with open bar 'til 2:30 am... Nice.... Day #3 breakfast buffet from 8:00-11:00, check out @ 12 and late check out @ 3pm (which was part of the all inclusive offer)

Now... Let's begin with the not so small letters after the itinerary (unknown to us up to the receipt of this email couple of days previous our stay).

1) sugested tip $69.70 per room during the 3/2 days stay, which could be paid during check in or check out. (we though tip was already included in the offer)
This was followed with a list of non-inclusive additional services:

1) airport/port-hotel transportation $10.00 round trip per person.........
2) room service (cleaning the room) $15.00 per person (huh??)
3) snack bar on room $25.00 (???)
but the following was what shocked us the most (specially on an all-star nba weekend)
4) TV on room $10.00 Daily!!!! - wait a minute.... I have to pay to have a TV on my room??

So my husband decided to call to rent the TV... The answer he got: "sorry sir, there are only 5 rooms with TV and they are all taken, since you had to ask for it when you make the reservation". how can anyone know that there were only 5 rooms with TV if no one ever informed us about it.... Following that great news, he begun asking about what other amenities they did NOT had on the rooms.... Here's the list:
1) obviously T.V.
2) Iron
3) Ironing board
4) Hangers
5) Hair dryer

We were in shock... Howcome one know a hotel as described on the website with such amazing pictures did not had available what we call escential items for any stay.....we were debating into canceling or not....we decided to pack our travel iron, and hair dryer and we went anyway.

We expected a really bad shaped place to stay.... We were surprised with a really nice lobby area, and a pretty decent room (101)...ok is not that bad... Although the add did said ocean view room, well we did see the ocean through the electricity poles and cables in front of our balcony... But hey, it was ok with us....

We went to the lobby and asked for the menu to grab something to eat before dinner since it was 4:10 And buffet dinner wasn't served until 7.... "kitchen is closed until 7"..... Hmmmm ok..gotta wait then....

We went to the room and rested for a while... The room had AC, which was cool, but Noisy as hell.... I could rest everytime the compresor shut down.... Otherwise it was almost impossible....

We went to the buffet later on.... Food was delicious and service was awesome....so we though "is not as bad as we though"

Day 2: we woke up early to be at the breakfast buffet @ 8am as stated on the schedule... Got there aroun 8:10 am... Food wasn't ready yet.... We had to wait like 25-30 minutes in order to get breakfast.... Menu: fresh fruits, scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs with veggies, dry toasted bacon, old bread, cupcakes, cereals, plain yogurt, outdated milk, water-like coffee....eggs and bacon where cold...

Dissapointed by breakfast, we went to the beach (outside the hotel) and came back @ 1:15 pm for the 1pm bar and grill lunch... As during morning... Lunch was not ready.... We had to wait for more bread, and burgers.... When they finally came, burgers were small and burnt, chicken wings were raw, cheese was frozen and it seemed like plastic, french fries were cold and soft, not crunchy...and everything else was cold as well...

We went to the pool and there was no one on the pool bar where the beer only open bar was suposed to be served...after almost an hour later someone appeared and everyone applauded.... The pool was cold, but it was nice...

7pm dinner buffet.... Again.... Food was not ready after like 40 minutes.... Menu: 4cheese penne pasta, garlic butter penne pasta and linguini in red sauce, not so fresh salad, skirt steak, bbq chicken breast, garlic bread, chocolate and carrot cake. Again the food was cold (even when it was just put on the buffet line...never did understood the reason)... I only ate the 4cheese pasta and the cakes... Bbq chicken breast was terrible and salad was not fresh.... Ohh, the offer included a bottle of wine with that dinner, which they never put in our table... So when we finally asked, they said we had to ask for it in the bar and that it was being served by glass to avoid mess... Huh?? Oh well

Then the open bar begun with a karaoke night....

Day 3: same story with the breakfast buffet...45 minutes late....same menu....and cold again... But this time i bought and espresso coffee from the bar because buffet coffee was terrible....

I wrote this review still in the property, but was not approved do to excesive Caps and exclamation points, so I rewrote it, but the empotions are still the same... I forgot to mention it took a couple of days and several calls for them to email our confirmation including the late check out, cause it was sent with regular check out time the first time.

since service was not as good we did not paid the sugested Non-included tip... We already had tipped the people who served us well.... Lets see if they charge it anyway after our chekout... Will let you know...

I do appreciate the fact that we met amazing people that made the whole stay more bearable and we could make jokes about it.... Otherwise i think we would've preffer to cancel and stay somewhere else...

The place is nice, cozy with lots of room for improvement. It is a shame its not well managed... I keep reading reviews like this and the manager answering with some kind of attitude, and justifying and making excuses for the failures, instead of recognizing that so many people talking about almost the same things, may have a point of growth and improvement, and therefore embracing it... That demonstrate the reason why they won't improve... Also more employees wouldn't hurt... The guy @ the bar is working from 6 am until almost 3 am when the bar is closed... Thats kind of abusive.... Get more staff, fix up and maintain the place, and accept critics with gratitude applying those who will make this place a better place to stay.... You'll see the difference!!!!

Just spent weekend at SeaBreeze it looks good when your there but after that disaster a buffet that looks like a fast food place or a school lounge pool party never took place hours of pool bar open one hour late and all inclusive which was not an all inclusive before they offer something learned the meaning of the word rooms need to be better keep looks like a motel some of the room need to be better clean and for the price no comments on that and here in PR you want us to promote local tourism first let's get better at what we do and let's work on customer service which we are lack of this.
