...but not great. We went for a very late night dinner after 3-4 hour reservation waits at Whaler's Village (11pm -12am for dinner? Ummmmm...no), so showed up at Son'z about 45 minutes or so before closing.
The food was good. In fact, I'd probably call it very good. I had the 22oz. bone-in ribeye, and it was flavorful and cooked darn near to perfection. Was it the best steak I've had? No, but it was very good. My girlfriend had the mahi-mahi, which was good as well.
As with most restaurants of this caliber, everything needs to be ordered ala carte. That's fine except when you forget to do it. D'oh!! Unfortunately by the time the food came and I completely forgot to order the garlic smashed potatoes I wanted, the kitchen was closed. Oh well. I did find it a bit weird though that I wasn't asked when I ordered if I would like any sides. But at the end of the day, it was my fault, not theirs.
Had the mozarella sticks for an appetizer, which were good, and the drinks were just okay. The drinks were on par with drinks at other venues on the Hyatt property, which isn't great to begin with. Most drinks at restaurants of this caliber are incredibly good.
Overall a good experience, with beautiful scenery and friendly swans and ducks. :)
