Great location for going to Eastern Creek V8s. Dinner at adjoining club great. Breakfast great. Value great. All staff very helpful and friendly. Shower could have been cleaner. More kids channels on TV would have been good. Only negative was slow water pressure in shower.

Dear Kathryn J S,
It was pleasing to hear that you had a pleasant stay, starting from the breakfast, to our helpful and friendly team, to the dinner at the club. I will address the issue of the shower with our Housekeeping and Maintenance teams, so this issue can be rectified.
Thank you for the feedback and we hope to welcome you back to Travelodge in the near future.

Stayed here for the first time one Sunday night in August 2014.

Club right next door is good to relax and have a feed. Plus a McDonalds is literally outside the hotels doorstep for cheap fast food. There is a Woolworths parallel to Reservoir Rd (in Flushcombe Street) if you need any nick nacks and overnight supplies. CBD of Blacktown is about a 5-10 min drive away. Hotel is close to the great western highway.

Plenty free onsite parking, though undercover parking is opposite the club next door. Checking-in was a bit longer than I experience in other hotels, not sure why got a bit annoying. But checking-out was brief.

Room I stayed at was clean, good nights sleep, everything was ok, except I could hear the occupants talking in the next room and heard their tv. I don't think they were talking loud or had the tv volume on high, just that the walls appear paper thin, one of my pet hates. Not sure if its this way in every room or just a section of the hote lI was at?. Thankfully they were quiet from about 9pm onwards. Im not sure if every room is like this, but hearing people talking normally noise from the room next door isn't a good thing for a hotel.

Will stay here again, but not on fri or sat due to the paper thin walls.

Dear Travelman2500,

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback from your recent stay.
Our location is very convenient to most amenities, as you have mentioned, so it does make a good base to stay at. I am pleased that you found your room to be clean and able to have a good nights sleep. The building itself was designed and constructed quite some years ago, many of our guests over this time have found the rooms noisy, while other have found it quiet, it may depend on the other guest/s you have staying next to you.
We appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you back in the near future.
Kind regards,
Michael Nguyen

Great value, good location if you are working out that side of town. The only negative is you cannot charge drinks back to your room at the club next door only meals. The staff was very freindly especially at the breafast bar they could not do enough for me and the value of the full buffet was very good as well. Having the club right next door was very handy, cheap all you could eat buffet and gamming as well as the TAB.

Dear Graham,
Thank you for the great feedback. I am very pleased to hear that you found our hotel to be of great value but also the staff to be very friendly, especially the ladies in the restaurant. I will ensure this comment is passed onto the team.
We do work closely with the club, so I will suggest the chargeback of drinks in our next meeting.
Thank you once again and we hope to welcome you back to Travelodge in the near future.

My room smelt a bit like pesticide... not sure what that was.
The breakfast looked very ordinary
Apart from this, the staff were very nice and the location excellent.

Dear Kim,
Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback from your recent stay.
I will need to investigate the pesticide smell in the room you occupied, as we have not had any treatment done to this room, so it might have been the chemicals used from our Housekeeping team.
Breakfast is an area we are definitely looking to improve and currently working on different aspects with external companies to make it more appealing to our guests.
Besides this, I am very pleased that you found our team very nice as well as the location.
Kind regards,

Very disappointed. Mould and grime in shower, broken castor on bed, lukewarm water for the shower. No wifi offered & TV quality shocking. Has really slipped behind, not a patch on TL Docklands in Melb.

Dear Dean,
I was very disappointed in reading your comments and apologise for the inconvenience caused during your stay.
We have had our water pumps and boilers serviced recently, so this should eliminate any hot water issues.
Mould and grime in the shower is unacceptable and we are working to eradicate this. The hotel will be going through a soft refurbishment in October/November with the bathroom an area definitely on the project.
My maintenance person has changed the set top box in the room you had occupied and that has improved the picture quality on the TV. Wifi is available, at a charge, but the company is looking at the option of providing this complimentary.
Thank you for once again for your honest feedback.
Kind regards,
Michael Nguyen

Dear Maria H,
As a valued guest of Travelodge Blacktown, I am very disappointed to hear that this stay in particular was not such a great one.
We have recently had our water pumps and boilers serviced, so this should eliminate any hot water issues. I will also have my maintenance look at the sofa bed in the room you occupied and have this repaired.
My apologies for any inconvenience caused during your stay and we hope to get the opportunity again to make your next stay more enjoyable.
