The room was nice and the house has lots of extras and a Comfy bed. Pool out the back. Breakfast was cooked and a beautiful fruit salad (and cereal) for starters. The port and chocolates in the evening was a nice touch. Road noise was an issue for us as we live in a cul de sac and not used to traffic noise( Friday night). FREE wifi . A small flat screen tv mounted on the wall would be nice in the room so we could stretch out and relax in private. But the lounge room had a tv which was just outside our room. Rooms were upstairs so if you have a mobility issue then maybe not for you. Located right between Bundaberg and Bargara. Great value for the dollars.

This was my first time staying at a B and B. Personally it is probably not the style for me, but I must say that if you do like this style of accommodation then you will definitely like this place. It is very clean, comfy bed and the hosts go above and beyond. Fantastic breakfast, lovely port and chocolates at night. There is a bit of road noise but there isn't much traffic at night so it doesn't bother you. It is half way between Bundy and Bargara and you can pick up some fresh produce close by.

We had a lovely stay here, very clean & a great ambience. The attention to detail all round was a very high standard & we will definitely be back on future business trips. The breakfast & coffee was great too. Surrounding garden a credit to the owners too & being surrounded by cane fields another experience.

Room Tip: Verandah rooms are close to the road but traffic not really an issue overnight.

Stayed here for one night with a friend. Had the Jenkins Room which had a double and single bed. $120 for the night. Nice bathroom with a dispenser in the shower for shampoo etc.

Three rooms available at this property.

Located about 9 km east of Bundaberg heading towards Bargara.

There is a pool available for guest use. The owners also had some port and chocolates available as a treat for guests.

There was a cooked breakfast available which my friend tried and liked. I just had some cereal and yoghurt and some lovely fresh fruit salad.

The hosts were friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

This was my first stay in a B&B and based on this I will definitely seek out these kinds of places in the future. The house itself is beautiful and the bed was extremely comfortable - best night's sleep we'd had in a long time. The décor has a cosy and peaceful feel to it, and the complementary chocolates and port are a nice touch.

This place is the perfect place to stay if you're planning on going to Mon Repos for a turtle encounter, as you can find yourself heading back quite late and it's much more pleasant to have that short trip back.

The breakfast provided was delicious and way beyond filling, and the owner could not have made us feel more welcome if she tried. If we find ourselves going back through the area in the future, we would love to stay again!

The B&B has a nice new owner, we were the first guests.
The whole house was very clean, the bathroom was spotless. Our room had a decent size and a comfortable bed, we slept very well. The breakfast was tasty, a good choice of cereals, fruit salad, bacon and eggs, toast and orange juice. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

This B&B is on a main road and as there was no-one else staying there would have been lovely to be put in the bigger room and not on the road side. The day we arrived it was a public holiday and we had no idea it would have been good to be told when I booked a couple of days before. We were only staying 1 night so there was nothing open the day we arrived, the place is very old time with lots of old things, in the bathroom there was no space to put your make-up or your shower things, you could not put them in the shower either. There were two rooms very close together and we would not have been comfortable if any other people had have been there. We didnt meet David and Penny was friendly but liked things where they should be, if you are going to share your house with other people you need to not worry about the liitle things. Maybe because they have sold the property they are over it.We wont be going back could do with new beds and taking some things out of the room.

Room Tip: Ask for the room at the end it has a big bed and a single on the quieter side.

David and I are really sorry that this guest was not happy with their stay with us. The larger room, with 1 queen and 1 single bed was not occupied and these guests would have been most welcome to use it had we have known, however it has no access to the veranda. The other 2 rooms are separated by 2 ensuites. Pictures of all our rooms can be seen on our webite and we are happy for guests to choose if they are available. As can be seen by all our other reviews this is the first time we have ever received any complaints about our rooms, 100% of comments relating to our beds refer to how comfortable they are and how great a sleep was had. This B&B is on a main road but being only a small town this does not continue throughout the night. In the 9yrs we have owned this B&B we have strived to maintain a high standard of accommodation which is reflected in the comments in our guest books and in this period of management before the new owners take over we will continue to do the same.
