We were lucky enough to be upgraded to the heritage suite. Absolutely gorgeous!
Dinner and breakfast was beautiful on the balcony overlooking the valley.
Service, food & room 10/10. Very friendly staff, amazing fresh food. Definite must visit!!

A real 5 start location. Brilliant service, excellent amenities, great food. Only stayed one night for a wedding. Look forward to going back for a proper stay to enjoy all the amenities and sample the food in the restaurant.. The wedding feast was well above your normal wedding fare. Importantly for me, a fantastic bed. You can't wake up in a bad room in this place. It is a true retreat with wonderful atmosphere.

The food and service was excellent. The room needed updating. The location was good in proximity to Brisbane. We liked the food, wine and service but our room needed refurbishment. The distant outlook from the room was good but the immediate surrounds were drab and needed some coloured shrubs.

We attended a wedding here and stayed the night - beautiful country style rooms with a stunning view and luxurious beds. The staff were also fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. Out of the way but worth it!

Just spent 2 nights and three days at Spicers for my daughters wedding. Had not heard of the organisation before this event. The wedding organiser Kirsty went out her her way to make our stay and the wedding a fantastic event and a great family reunion. For me the place , the location and the service was first class. A few flys were the only downside , apart from these un welcome guests the rest was perfect.
Highly recommend , vintage accomadation , great location , and first class service.

Every Spicers Lodge is different and this one is actually a perfect place for families. It is like a compound consisting of the main house (front desk, restaurant and bar) and numerous cottages, a games room, spa retreat and an animal farm. Wonderfully peaceful with long bike/walking tracks , it is like a big farm on a 5 star level. We were very lucky to be upgraded to a heritage suite which I would highly recommend. The Valley rooms are all in a separate building and quite small. The black and red Angus cottages are the newer ones and looked very nice. Food is delicious and staff was very friendly.

Room Tip: Get a heritage suite.
