We arrived to be greeted by a lovely young lady who looked after booking us in efficiently. We were directed to Cabin no. 2. I was very clean and the self contained facilities were well appointed. The towels were good quality and soft. All was looking good for a fantastic 3 day getaway. That was until we tried the bed and turned on the television. The bed was old and and extremely hard with paper thin pillows. We had to get the spare blankets from the cupboard and pillows off the lounge and put them on the bed in an effort to try and gain some comfort. Anyway things were not looking good for comfortable sleep so we decided to have a drink and watch a couple of television programs that we had been looking forward to seeing. 60 minutes with the Daniel Morcombe special and a movie. What a disappointment. Not one channel on the television was able to be viewed because of poor reception. We spoke to people in the town and were told that television reception was very good in the area so obviously the management of this park have not invested in suitable antennas as the TV reception in cabin 2 was woeful and really took to gloss off our trip. Television and a comfortable bed are probably the 2 most important items for holiday accommodation and this place failed on both counts. The location is wonderful and the cabin was immaculately clean but what good is this when you can not get a good nights sleep or watch television when you want to. We left at 3am on the last night of our stay as we could not sleep in the bed and decided to go home. We would not stay here again if the beds were not improved.More
