Our favourite place in the world!! We had the most perfect luxurious stay at Spicers Lodge to celebrate my husbands birthday. Well worth the bumpy 12km road to get there!! We were upgraded to our own private lodge with the most gorgeous views, comfiest bed in the world and best of all a private infinity jacquizzi pool where we watched the sunset. It was completely secluded but so luxurious and we felt totally spoilt by the extra freebies such as chocolates on our pillows and free minibar.
From the moment we arrived we felt completely at home- the staff are all incredibly friendly and welcoming and cannot do enough to make your stay perfect. We took advantage of the free bikes on our second day and did a long walk to the most beautiful scenic look out. A highlight of our stay was the most amazing meal we have ever had- the 7 course tasting menu with paired wines. Every course was exquisite and absolutely delicious. The breakfast the next morning was also to die for.
I don't normally write reviews but had to stop and write one for Spicers Peak Lodge. We had the most amazing time and didn't want to leave. I cannot recommend this place enough!! It was faultless. Thank you Spicers.

We had an amazing night away. From the personalised welcome, to the incredible food/wine/service and the small touches such as the turndown service, we were totally spoilt. Facilities are great, beautiful rooms and the fireplace was much appreciated! Thankyou, we will be back!

Peak Lodge was our 4th Spicers location to visit and we were not disappointed.
Attention to detail was outstanding - from the accommodation to the service and food. We would love to visit again.
A la carte menus would have been appreciated as degustation does not always have any selection.

My fiancé and I just returned from spending two nights at Spicers Peak Lodge to celebrate our recent engagement. I can honestly not rave about this property enough - it was everything we both imagined it would be and so much more. The lodge is beautiful and welcoming and has an absolutely breathtaking view. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special - and all provided second-to-none service. We indulged in a number of treatments at Spa Anise with Cheryle and Marianna including the hot-stone massage (A MUST), and the Trinity treatment - all of which were superb. We also went on a Sunest 4WD tour with Alistair which was the absolute highlight of our stay. Alistair was very knowledgeable and it was great to see the local wildlife and terrain from a different perspective - not to mention the delicious champagne and cheese platter we had while watching the sunset from Ryan's Lookout. The food in the restaurant is also top notch - the breakfast does fall a little behind the phenomenal fine dining and degustation dinner menus but when the dinner crew sets the bar so high it's hardly an issue. We stayed in a Spa Lodge Room and will definitely be returning to explore more of the walking trails and the menu!

Room Tip: I doubt there'e a bad room in the house but if you're concerned - go for a Spa Lodge room!

As we were driving the 12km along the dirt road to Spicers Peak Lodge, we were wondering how and why anyone would think to establish a Lodge in such a remote location. But as we arrived at the summit, all was revealed. It is a special Lodge in an exquisite location. Spicers Peak Lodge and the surrounding countryside made me fall in love with Australia all over again, and Queensland in particular. Thanks to Chloe for effortlessly organising an antipasto platter for our lunch at a moment's notice. One night certainly re-charged the batteries and next time we will stay longer.

Incredible place to relax and surprise your loved ones. The Romantic Package is great value for your money and the staff assisted me in surprising my girlfriend with a private proposal after dinner. She said 'Yes'.
