Admittedly the reviews we had received were luke warm but the hotel was one of the few places open at this time of the year (during low season). Service was friendly and the location has great views and overall ambience. The food was pretty ordinary - anything seafood and fried was OK but we ordered a scotch fillet steak [medium] that came rare, cold and tough and also a haloumi salad with "local beets and greens" that was basically 2 slabs of fried cheese on an otherwise empty plate. Disappointing to have to send food back but staff were happy to replace meals.
We understand if demand during slower months makes it harder to plan stock etc but menu should be simplified if this is an issue.
