“Good location for seeing wineries and Barossa”
Reviewed 31 March 2014

Greeted on time and friendly welcome. Cabin had suffice for our needs for 2 nights. Great position in middle of Seppetfield Road. Bit dry around no doubt due to dry weather. Info on local eateries would have been handy for evening.

Stayed March 2014, travelled as a couple

Good value for money; you can't expect 5 star when you pay for 3. Separate cabins for couples/families is very convenient. Setting is a bit stark, in the middle of a drought so understandable. You have to ring ahead to get info about key drop-off; the owner's child gave me an incorrect number initially. In the end , no problem as host was on-site. Set in a quiet area, near Hentley Farm, Barossa Estates and Rolf Binder. Good kitchen facilities and air-con.

Room Tip: We were 3 couples and all cabins were nearly identical.

Right in the heart of the Barossa - Seppelts View Cabins - offer great value.

We didn't actually deal with any staff in our time here, but we were still taken care of. Clean, comfortable and had a good kitchen set up should you need it. But when in the Barossa food and wine bowl - go out to eat and experience all the amazing food and wonderful hospitality!

We weren't around for the farmers markets on the Saturday was a shame, so I may have made use of the kitchen then...

Had New Years Eve in the Barossa, and highlight visits of wineries for us were Torbreck, Rockford, St Hallet and Lehmans. Look forward to going back to Grant Burge and many more on another visit.

Had a lovely lunch at Maggie Beers and a wonderful degustation dinner at Appellation for New Years Eve - where the wine (and the view for our pre-dinner aperitif) was amazing!

40s cafe at Anguston does amazing pizza, and Blondies does a great coffee.

Hired a bike from http://www.barossabikehire.com.au/ - great service, and so much fun. Need to be a bit fitter to be able to see a few wineries by bike, but Torbreck was within biking distance and so was Seppetsfield. We could have gone a bit further afield but the low 40 degree weather was a little too much for this coast dwelling couple.

The llamas, chicken and pony are also good value company :)

Were going to stay 3 night for our wedding but was let down when no one called us back and when we called again it was booked out. We were told they were busy at the races and will contact us back that night or tomorrow but never recieved called. Called them after 2 days of no contact and was told it was all booked out. Very disappointed at the lack of customer service and makes me question the place all together.

What a great place to stay! Staff were very friendly, heaps of room outside for the kids to kick a footy and the bonfire area was awesome. Beatiful frosty morning added to the picturesque outlook. Cabins were very clean and well renovated and had all the things needed for a great weekend away from the hustle and bustle. Very well located close to some great wineries! Thanks for a great stay, and we will definitely be back. The large BBQ are was ideal for saving a few $$$'s on the alternative of dining out, and also very clean.

Thanks for having us stay. It was lovely to meet other guests around the camp fire at night. Good area for the kids to run around in the morning while we slept in. The billy kart and the animals we a hit too.

We stayed 3 days over a long weekend and found the cabins conveniently located right on the doorstep of Penfolds and many other great wineries. The new owners were lovely especially with the young children, introducing them to the chooks, pony and alpaca's they have on site. The cabins are well equipped and we loved the communal outdoor fire pit. We will be back!!!

Room Tip: The cabins are two side by side which are great for sharing with families or friends
