We stopped in for a Sunday lunch, place was pretty empty and was just the two of us, we asked if we could get a bar menu and were refused as we hasn't booked. Several other people were turned away just in the ten minutes we were there.

We used to go for lunch here a lot but hadn't been there for a year or so.New managers so we thought time to go back.A very relaxing place with an excellent outlook over the Tamar river.Service was a little slow at first but very friendly staff, the food was nice for the price and my steak was cooked as ordered. We then played a few games of 8 ball, some more drinks and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We will be putting this place back on our lunch schedule.

Great views of the Tamar River from the restaurant. Meals are a little on the pricy side but considering the location probably worth it. The house red is always a classic from the bottle.

We booked a table for 7 people at 12.30 on Sunday the 30th of September. we were 5 minutes late but the lovely waitress seated us with a smile so we were looking forward to an amzing family lunch in a lovely setting. HOW WRONG COULD WE BE! we waited 20 minutes for drinks, 30 minutes for our garlic bread x 2 at $10.00 a plate which consisted of two bread rolls cut in 4, so $20.00 worth of bread was, we though very over rated and priced! we then sat for a further hour and 15 minutes and waited for an order of the salmon x 2 which was incredibly greasy with a few greasy looking vegies under it, 3 x battered fish and chips, which was the soggiest flake - waitress told us it was flake we are not sure...... and a sad salad that didn't even have dressing on it! it was $27.00 VERY DISSAPOINTED the batter wasn't even cooked on my fish still sticky! we also had the roasted porkbelly wich was also for the price and size of the serving dissapointing! This experience cost us $215.00....Never again!
