Went here for dinner with a group of friends and we all agreed the food was fabulous.

We went on a Saturday night but it wasn't overly busy and the service was good. We stayed and chatted until late (11pm) and there were still other groups eating and talking: nice to find a place where we didn't feel rushed to leave: so many other restaurants start packing up ready for closing at around 10pm.

None of us had ever eaten Afghan food before so we ordered the banquet. The dishes were fresh and tasty, great variety, and we left feeling really full.
My favourite were the lamb kebabs ("Barg" on the menu): the lamb was so tender and had the beautiful flavour of the charcoal grill.

nice tasty food, however not good value. would be better off going into Dandenong for Afghan. lacks atmosphere, could really do with a renovation/refresh. chicken korma was $19 very small serve. the food was nice but we wont be back.

We got take away from here after wanting to try it for a while. Really tasty food. But so overpriced that it's not a dining option.

Was looking forward to this restaurant very much as have been once before and enjoyed it immensely. Decided to take some family visiting from interstate because it was a special treat. booked table for nine. At the very last minute two of our guest were forced, for good reason, to cancel. When we informed the manager of this he was very upset because we didn't inform him earlier. After that we found the service to be very slow and at no time after the meal was served were we asked how we were enjoying the food or if there was anything else we required. We felt like we were not welcome. All of this spoilt the dining experience for us all. The food was superb, as it has been before, but there is more to dining than just the food and the service was very poor and spoilt our night.

I thought the food was very tasty. The lamb and chicken kebabs were particular nicely balanced with spices. The Afghan rice was the best I have tasted in Melbourne. Service was fast and friendly. A spacious restaurant with ample parking nearby. The only disappointment was that it does not have a tandoori oven and the bread/naan was very ordinary supermarket type. At first I thought the prices were rather on the high side; until I compared with other similar restaurants. It is clear that dining out in Australia has become very expensive in recent times. Worthwhile giving this restaurant a go.
